Veteran Australian cricketer Jason Gillespie was appointed the head coach of the Pakistan Test team in April 2024. During a Q&A session on social media platform Gillespie also revealed that the PCB did not even consult assistant coach Tim Nielsen before firing him.

Jason Gillespie made a big disclosure saying, “I was the coach of the Pakistan Test team. The PCB had fired our senior assistant coach without talking to me or consulting me. Being the head coach of the team, I found this situation completely unacceptable. There were many other issues due to which I felt humiliated.”

Pakistan team’s performance under Gillespie

The reason for Salman Ali Aga not attending the presentation
