Pakistan’s Union Communications Minister Aleem Khan’s party Ishtekaam Pakistan Party (IPP) has formed an alliance with Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, the political wing of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, for the elections to be held on refugee seats in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Under the alliance, the political wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba will support the party of Aleem Khan, Communications Minister in Pakistani Shahbaz Sharif’s government, on two so-called refugee reserved seats in Lahore. In return, Ishtekaam Pakistan Party will support Lashkar-e-Taiba on the POK seats, which Lashkar is fighting in the name of its other Jammu Kashmir United Movement (JKUM).

The alliance was also announced in Lahore by Lahore General Secretary of Lashkar-e-Taiba’s political wing and US-proclaimed terrorist Hameed Ul Hasan and Ishtekaam Pakistan Party (IPP) Punjab province president and former Union Minister Rana Nazir Ahmed Khan. It also included Khalid Naik Gujjar, National General Secretary of Lashkar’s political wing and Malik Zaman Naseeb, head of IPP in Lahore district.

Protests going on in POK for 42 days

In the protests going on in POK for the last 42 days, the main demand of the protesters is to remove 12 alleged refugee seats, on which ISI makes MPs for its elite leaders and terrorists to bring them into the mainstream. In the press conference, terrorist Hameed Hasan Gujjar opposed the protesters’ demand to cancel 12 alleged refugee seats and thanked Union Communications Minister Aleem Khan and said that Aleem Khan has helped a lot on the issue of Kashmir.

Whose participation in the government of Pakistan?

According to sources, the head of Ishtekaam Pakistan Party (IPP), a party with only 4 MPs, was made a minister by ISI in the central government of Pakistan headed by Shahbaz Sharif. Pakistan has once again taken strict action to suppress protests in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Top leader of Awami Action Committee from Dhirkot, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, has been arrested on charges of terrorism and treason. According to the information, Shaukat Nawaz Mir was hiding in a house in Dhirkot for the last three weeks and was allegedly conducting the movement from there. It is being told that in the evening Pakistani Rangers and POK Police reached that house through the forest. During the action, the security forces first fired several rounds in the air and then arrested Shaukat Nawaz Mir.

Search for other leaders intensified

After the arrest of Shaukat Nawaz Mir, Pakistan’s security agencies have also intensified the search for other leaders associated with the movement. In the same sequence, late night police and Rangers conducted a search operation at the house of Sardar Omar Nazir, one of the main organizers of the movement in Rawalakot.

Major action was taken earlier also

This is not the first time that Pakistan has shown strictness against the protesters. Many actions have already been taken by Pakistan to stop the agitation that has been going on for the last 22 days. In one day, about 150 people were allegedly declared terrorists by the PoK government. About two weeks ago, cases of treason and terrorism were registered against four prominent leaders of the movement, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, Sardar Umar Nazir, Sardar Aman Khan and Khawaja Mehran. A reward of Rs 1 crore was also announced on the arrest of these four leaders.

Big demonstration continues on 22nd day

Despite these actions, the protests in PoK have not stopped. On the 22nd day of the movement, more than 60 thousand protesters are said to be present at the Idgah ground in Rawalakot. Despite internet services being closed, rallies are being taken out against the Pakistan government in many areas of PoK.

After the arrest of Shaukat Nawaz Mir, it is believed that the Awami Action Committee may announce the Muzaffarabad march in the coming days. At present, the security agencies of Pakistan are trying to control the movement, while the protesters are continuing their protest.

In this series, many school children stood at the Eidgah ground of Rawalakot carrying banners on which it was written – ‘Pakistani army go out’, ‘Pakistani army is killing Kashmiris’, ‘Kashmir is a victim of Pakistan’s attack’, ‘We want rights’, ‘We want free education’, ‘Internet and food have been stopped’, ‘United Nations we need your attention’.

What did the organizers of the protest say?

Sardar Aman Khan, one of the main organizers of the protest, said that ‘the people of PoJK have many options, but the Pakistani government has no option. In such a situation, either give them their rights or if the Pakistani army continues its atrocities, the entire Pakistani army will be driven out of PoJK. Apart from this, Sardar Aman Khan warned that ‘Pakistani Army had massacred Bengalis by lying, kills Balochs, Pashtuns, but Kashmiris know how to respond and if Kashmiris cannot survive in PoJK then Pakistani Army will also not survive in PoJK.’

Gave warning to Pak government

The civilian organization Awami Action Committee, under whose banner the entire protest is taking place, has given a deadline of June 23 to the Pakistani government and if 38 demands are not met till then, more than 1 lakh protesters will march from Rawalakot to PoJK capital Muzaffarabad and Sardar Aman Khan warned that if the march comes, the government in Muzaffarabad will also be of Awami Action Committee. That means, something similar to what happened in Nepal and Bangladesh is likely to happen in PoJK.

Internet closed from 5th June

Internet is closed in PoJK since June 5 and trucks carrying food supplies have been stopped on the border of PoJK since June 14. So far 58 people have died in the firing by Pakistani Rangers and Army.

Meanwhile, people gathered in his village today in memory of the youth Faizan Rabbani, who was killed in Pakistani army firing last week, in which people termed the Pakistani government and army as terrorists and raised slogans of freedom.

Apart from the common people, school girls and their teachers in PoJK took out a march against the Pakistani government and clapped against the Pakistani government. Awami Action Committee leaders were staying in this guest house and bullets were fired at the guest house to target them. It has been 10 days since the protests started from June 9 and neither the Pakistani government is ready to accept the demands of the protesters nor the protesters are ready to bow down. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how the rebellion progresses in PoJK.

While warning the cruel rule of Pakistan, the leader of Awami Action Committee said that this is not Sindh, Balochistan, D Chowk, this is Kashmir where if a dead body falls, lakhs of people come on the streets. So far 53 people have lost their lives in the ongoing protests in PoK since last Tuesday, but the Rawalakot protesters are standing firm on their demands against the cruel Pakistani government and army and are adopting a rebellious stance against the Pakistani government and army.

However, differences are also clearly visible among the leaders of the Awami Action Committee in the rebellion against the Pakistani army and the government, where Sardar Aman Khan and Khwaja Mehran are openly adopting a rebellious attitude and demanding the independence of PoK and have announced an all-out war against the Pakistani army, while Umar Nazir and Shaukat Nawaz Mir are trying to negotiate with the Pakistani government by adopting a soft stance on their demands.

The issue is stuck on two demands of the protesters, first on the 12 so-called refugee seats inside PoK, which Jaanta is demanding to abolish and second, on the oath of the elected leaders of PoK, in which instead of loyalty to Pakistan, Jaanta is demanding that it should be changed to loyalty to the unity of Jammu and Kashmir because PoK is not a part of Pakistan.
