Just a day after the joint statement issued to strengthen bilateral relations between India and Afghanistan, Pakistan has expressed strong objection. Pakistan not only expressed displeasure over some parts of the joint statement, but also reacted sharply to the statements made by Afghanistan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaki during his visit to India.

Pakistan expressed objection on the mention of Kashmir

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said that describing Jammu and Kashmir as a part of India in the joint statement is a clear violation of the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. Pakistan has formally expressed its serious objections to both India and Afghanistan on this. Pakistan has also given this objection to the Additional Foreign Secretary (West Asia and Afghanistan).

In an India-Afghanistan joint statement issued on October 10, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar had thanked Afghanistan for strongly condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. Both countries condemned all forms of terrorism and stressed the need to enhance peace, stability and mutual trust in the region.

Pakistan enraged by Muttaki’s statements

Apart from the joint statement, Pakistan also objected to the statement of Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in which he had said that terrorism is an internal problem of Pakistan. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said that it had already informed Afghanistan that many terrorist organizations were attacking Pakistan from Afghan soil. The ministry said that the Afghan interim government cannot escape its responsibility by putting the responsibility on Pakistan. It is the responsibility of Afghanistan to maintain peace and stability in the region.

Muttaki held Pakistan responsible

It is noteworthy that just before his visit to India, Muttaki had held Pakistan responsible for the blasts in Afghanistan. He had said, “We consider this action of Pakistan wrong. Problems are not solved like this. We have kept the door of dialogue open. Peace and development have returned to Afghanistan after 40 years.”

Pakistan’s statement on illegal Afghan citizens

Amidst this controversy, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry also said that illegal Afghan citizens cannot be allowed to live in the country. The ministry clarified that it is Pakistan’s right to control the presence of foreign nationals.

This was the first time that the Afghan Foreign Minister visited India after the Taliban came to power in 2021. In New Delhi on Friday, he met Foreign Minister S. Met Jaishankar. During the meeting, Muttaki assured that Afghanistan will not allow its land to be used against any country.

Muttaki said, “I am happy to come to Delhi. This visit will increase understanding and cooperation between India and Afghanistan. Both the countries should further strengthen their relations and dialogue. We will not allow any group to misuse our soil.”

The agreement has been reached on the basis of the 38 point charter introduced by Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC).

The protests that started after the talks broke after the talks between the officials and the committee on September 29 took a violent form, which so far killed at least 10 people (including three policemen) and hundreds of people were injured.

How the protest movement started

The government was given a 38 -point charter by JKJAAC. It was warned that if these demands are not accepted, then the general public will come out on the streets. When the talks failed, the protests took violent form and heavy disturbance spread in the area. During this time public transport came to a standstill, daily life was interrupted and the situation worsened due to communication blackout.

Shahbaz Sharif sent a high level team

To bring the situation under control, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday sent a high -level delegation to Muzaffarabad. This team was led by former Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf. This team kept meeting till late night for two consecutive days. The talks ended at midnight on Friday night and the agreement was announced.

Agreement between Pakistan government and protesters

Pakistan’s Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said on the social media platform x, ‘The negotiators have signed the final agreement with the action committee. The protesters are returning to their homes. All roads have been opened. This is the victory of peace. Chaudhary also shared a copy of the agreement, including 25 point points. These include compensation to those killed in violence, investigations in violence cases in the sections of terrorism, and many development announcements.

Major points of agreement

Education Reform: Two new intermediate and secondary education boards will be set up for Muzaffarabad and Tail Divisions.

health services: The local government will issue health cards within 15 days, which will provide free treatment to the patients. In every district, MRI and CT scan machines will be installed in a phased manner.

power system: The central government will provide 10 billion Pakistani rupees (PKR 10 billion) to improve the power system in POK.

Administrative Reforms: The size of the POK cabinet will be reduced to 20 ministers and advisors. The number of administrative secretaries will also be kept at a maximum of 20. Some departments will be merged so that the governance system can be simplified.

Basic structure development: A study will be conducted to check the possibility of construction of two tunnels Kahori/Kamsar (3.7 km) and Chaplani (0.6 km) in the Neelam Valley. Steps will be taken towards the construction of international airport in Mirpur.

tax reform: Property transfer tax will be brought in three months at the same level as Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Monitoring Committee: A high -level monitoring and implementation committee will be formed to follow the agreement, which will work with the consent of both sides.

Legal Expert Committee: A committee of legal experts will be set up to consider constitutional and legal issues related to POK Assembly members.

Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Pok) There has been a lot of ruckus in it. On Monday (September 29), thousands of people took to the streets. On one hand, Pakistan suffered a bad defeat against India in Asia Cup 2025, on the other side Pok The situation deteriorated. Awami Action Committee (ACC) He is performing on a large scale, at the behest of thousands, thousands of people are making a ruckus against the Pak government. Chakka jam and strike have also been done along with the bandh. The Pakistani government has deployed security forces to stop the crowd.

According to the report of ‘NDTV’, AAC prominent leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir said, “Our performance is not against any institution, but for fundamental rights. Our people have not got their rights for 70 years, but now it has been enough. Or give our rights, or become a victim of public anger. ”

What is the real reason for the ruckus in PoK

Awami Action Committee has been very popular in the last few months. Thousands of people have come out on the streets at his behest. The committee has issued a charter demanding reforms. In this, it is an important issue for Kashmiri refugees living in Pakistan to abolish the 12 seats in the PoK assembly. With this, the people of PoK are much more troubled by inflation. Prices from flour to electricity and everyday goods have increased significantly.

Shahbaz’s tension increased, thousands of army personnel deployed

Shahbaz Sharif’s government has given full force to control the protest. He has put thousands of army soldiers on the streets. Flag march is being done in major cities of PoK. This demonstration started growing since Sunday night. The government has temporarily stopped the Internet.

Let us know that after the defeat of Asia Cup in 2025 against India, there was a huge insult of Pakistan. Now the Pak government is worried about the ruckus in PoK.

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan may be in jail, but he is not allowing the government to sit peacefully. Imran’s supporters have given sleep to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Imran’s supporters, who have been in jail for almost two years, staged a fierce protest. Hundreds of supporters took to the streets on Tuesday (August 5) in Pakistan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party workers and supporters are demanding the release of Imran. PTI activists claim that more than 500 party workers were arrested in an overnight raid in Lahore. Shared the post on PTI’s ‘X’ account. Through this, Emraan Khan urged his supporters to come out and protest peaceful protests till the restoration of true democracy in the country.

Protests in many places in Pakistan

The party has asked its leaders to protest at different places, while the central leadership of PTI has made a plan in collaboration with the leaders of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. According to the plan announced by PTI, there will be peaceful protests in four provinces and POJK. All members of the National Assembly (MNA) and Senator Adiala will gather outside the Adiala Jail under the leadership of Imran Khan’s sister Alima Khan.

Increased security of jail

Meanwhile, security has been increased around Adiala Jail in view of the protests announced by PTI. This step has been taken after the request for the deployment of additional police force. Along with this, Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC) has also been implemented while tightening security. Illegal gathering and a large number of people gathering have been banned. This section has been implemented in both Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Imran was arrested in 2023

Imran Khan took charge as the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018, but in 2022 he was removed from power through a no -confidence motion. After his arrest in 2023, there were protests across Pakistan, after which strict action against PTI started. In January, Imran Khan was convicted in a corruption case.

Balochistan Leader Mahrang Baloch Arrested: In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, a large -scale demonstrations against the Pakistani Army and the government have started. During the protest, Baloch Human Rights activist and Balochistan’s lead leader Maharang Baloch was arrested by the Quetta police on Saturday (March 22, 2025).

Thousands of people took to the streets to protest against the atrocities against the Baloch community in Balochistan. In these ongoing demonstrations under the leadership of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), the police conducted lathicharge, tear gas and firing, killing three youths and injured dozens.

Police took away the dead bodies of those killed
Byc claimed in its social media post, “The police not only arrested Mahrang Baloch and his associates, but also snatched the bodies of youths killed by protesters.” Other senior BYC leaders Bebigar Baluch, Dr. Hamal, Dr. Ilyas and Saeed Baloch have also faced ‘arrests like kidnapping’.

Why protest in Balochistan raging?
Balochistan has long been struggling with issues of autonomy and human rights violations. The main demands of the protesters are:

Ban on torture and forcibly disappearance
Baloch community right over natural resources
Autonomy and political freedom
Soldier suppression stops

Last message of Mahanrang Baloch
Prior to the arrest, Meharang Baloch released a video message on Friday night (March 21, 2025), in which he announced a shutdown and chakka jam across Balochistan. He said, “The Baloch Solidarity Committee announces a shutdown in the entire Balochistan against this harassment and terrorism of the state of Pakistan.”

Government of Pakistan’s response and increasing military repression
The Government of Pakistan and the army have adopted an aggressive policy to suppress the Baloch nationalist movements. Many Baloch workers and leaders were forcibly disappeared. Many protesters were injured in the attack on the picket site. The deployment of the army in Quetta and other areas has been increased. Women and children were also targeted. Byc has termed these actions as “state sponsored terrorism” and condemned the oppressive attitude of the Government of Pakistan.

Are there a civil war situation in Balochistan?
Explain that the conflict between the Pakistani Army and Baloch nationalists in Balochistan may intensify. Increasing repression of the Pakistani army can lead to more agitation. The political situation in Balochistan is also indicating that it is unstable.

Ppp vs government: The controversy has increased once again over the construction of canals on the Indus River in Pakistan. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced to organize protest rallies in all districts of Sindh province on 25 March. This protest will be done against the canal construction scheme of the federal government, which the party has termed ‘dictatorship’. The PPP alleged that the federal government is trying to harm the important water sources associated with the Indus River without any constitutional approval.

According to local media reports, PPP-Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro announced this protest during a press conference held in Sindh Assembly campus on Friday (March 21). Khuhro condemned the federal government and said that this step is against the Constitution and democratic principles. He warned the government that if these canal projects were not stopped, the government would be forced to leave the scheme as a result of the PPP protests. Khuhro said, ‘The purpose of our protest is to force the government to withdraw from this controversial scheme.’

PPP protest against canals

Khuhro also said that the people of Sindh and all political parties should join the struggle against the canal project. He said, ‘The united voice of the people of Sindh will affect this issue’. The PPP also made it clear that they are against the canals on the Indus River, but they are in favor of fair and fair delimitation. He says that if these projects are implemented, Sindh province can be deprived of water supply forever because the existence of Sindh is directly connected to the Indus River.

PPP described the Cholistan Canal as a dictatorial step

The PPP leader said that the federal government has started constructing the Cholistan Canal without any constitutional platform approval, which is a dictatorial step. According to Pakistan’s leading newspaper Dawn, the PPP had already rejected the federal government’s plan to build six new canals on the Indus River. After this, many rallies were organized in Sindh earlier this week, in which the protesters protested against the project and warned that the move will have a serious impact on Sindh water.
