Digital propaganda is being run for TTP from Afghanistan itself through social media, which is promoting the recruitment campaign. Surprisingly, Bangladesh’s intelligence agencies do not even have a glimpse of it, which further increases the seriousness of this danger.

Old relationship between Bangladesh and International Terrorism
This is not the first time that the name of Bangladeshi citizens is connected to the global terrorist network. In 2005, JMB terrorists carried out the first suicide attack in Bangladesh. Dozens of Bangladeshi joined ISIS and some were killed in Syria. In 2016, 8 Bangladeshis were arrested in Singapore, who wanted to build an Islamic state there.
