According to Geo News, the players were ordered to return to the hotel even before the Pakistan team left for Dubai International Stadium. This match is to start at 8 pm Indian time, but there is a situation of confusion on it. On the other hand, the UAE team has reached the stadium, but on the last occasion, the Pak team has withdrawn their name from the match.

After the India-Pakistan match, the PCB had demanded from the International Cricket Council that the match referee Andy Paycroft should be removed from the Asia Cup match referee penal list. The ICC rejected this appeal of Pakistan. After the first appeal was rejected, PCB also wrote a second letter to the International Cricket Council, threatening to boycott the Asia Cup if the demand was not met.

According to PCB, Andy Croft had asked the Pakistani captain not to join hands with Suryakumar Yadav at the time of the toss. At the same time, after the end of the match, the Indian players did not join hands with the Pak team. On this incident, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav supported his team’s decision and said that he was done in honor of the soldiers and the deceased people who were martyred in the Pahalgam attack after victory over the Pak team.
