There are big discussions about the wealth and royal lifestyle of the Sultans of many Muslim countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Bahrain, Morocco and Qatar. Pakistan shows great closeness with these countries, but its currency has no status here.

Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the third President and Sultan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Stories of his wealth are often heard. His net worth is 30 billion dollars. Now if we talk about UAE’s currency Dirham, its value is very high compared to Pakistani rupee. According to Currency Converter Xe, the value of one diram is equal to 76.81 Pakistani rupees.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had visited Saudi Arabia a few months ago and by sharing his photographs with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, he had claimed strong relations between the two countries. However, Pakistani rupee has no status even in this country. Pakistani rupee is lagging behind Saudi’s currency Riyal. The value of one Saudi Riyal is equal to 75.15 Pakistani rupees.

Brunei’s King Hassanal Bolkiah is also in the news due to his lavish lifestyle. He is the third richest king in the world. He has total assets of $28 billion. The value of the currency here can be estimated only by looking at their wealth. Brunei is a Muslim country, 82 percent of its population is Muslim. Here the condition of Pakistani rupee is even worse. The currency of Brunei is the Brunei dollar, whose value is equal to 217.70 Pakistani rupees.

Whenever there is talk of kings of Muslim countries, Qatar’s Emperor Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is definitely mentioned. He has been holding the throne of the Emperor of Qatar since 2013 and his net worth is 2 billion dollars. Pakistan also calls Qatar its very close and dear friend. However, the Pakistani rupee has no value here because it is very weak against the Qatari currency Qatari Riyal. The value of one Qatari Riyal is equal to 77.50 Pakistani rupees.

The Muslim country whose currency value is the strongest against the Pakistani rupee is Bahrain. The currency of Bahrain is Bahraini Dirham and the value of 1 Bahraini Dirham is equal to 750.22 Pakistani Rupees. The king of Bahrain is Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who is the owner of immense wealth. According to some reports, he has total assets of $5 billion.

Even in Morocco, a country with 99 percent Muslim population, the Pakistani rupee has no status. The value of 1 Moroccan Dirham in Pakistan is equal to 30.45 Pakistani Rupees. According to Forbes report, King Mohammed VI of Morocco has a total wealth of Rs 5.7 billion. His name is included in the list of 50 richest sultans of Africa.

The Indian rupee has weakened against the US dollar for some time. On Tuesday, the rupee fell 6 paise to 88.16 against the US dollar. The reason for this is said to be global economic instability, rising oil prices and a decrease in foreign investment. The Reserve Bank of India is constantly trying to stabilize the rupee, but the global pressure and dependence on imports are making it challenging. This is also affecting the general public, because imported goods like petrol, electronics and medicines are becoming expensive. But the question is whether the currencies of India’s neighboring countries are facing similar challenges? Let’s know the condition of neighboring countries.

Pakistan

Pakistan’s rupee is also going through a difficult period. The price of an US dollar has reached around 282 Pakistani rupees. The reason for this is Pakistan’s weak economy, heavy foreign debt and political instability. Despite the help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the chances of improving the currency of Pakistan are less visible.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh’s currency taka is also not stable. The price of an US dollar is around 120 pieces. Taka has weakened due to energy crisis and reduction in exports.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s rupee (LKR) has gone through a huge crisis in recent years. The price of an US dollar is around 300 Sri Lankan rupees. Lack of foreign exchange reserves and debt burden have weakened Sri Lanka’s economy. India has given financial assistance to Sri Lanka, but the stability of the currency is still a challenge.

Afghanistan

While India’s currency is under constant pressure, Afghanistan’s currency remains stable against Afghani (AFN) dollar. The price of an US dollar is around 69 Afghani.

Myanmar

Myanmar’s currency, MMK (MMK) has also weakened. The price of an US dollar is around 2100. Political instability and economic restrictions have weakened Myanmar’s economy.

Also read-How much is the price of 1000 rupees in the world, what can you buy from it?
