Uttar Pradesh ATS has arrested two persons. According to the information, they were in touch with Pakistan -based handlers through social media and were plotting to carry out terrorist activities in India. The arrested persons have been identified as Ajmal Ali and Dr. Usama Maj Sheikh.

At present, the police is questioning both of them and is investigating the bar of other aspects. Evidence has been found of these two being associated with the Pakistani people. Both of them used to talk about bringing Sharia law in India through WhatsApp group and social media. Four hundred Pakistani people were also in touch with them.

The accused were associated with WhatsApp group

The arrested accused were associated with a Watts app group called Rewing Islam. In the details of the accused arrested by the police, a youth Ajmal Ali is a resident of Amroha district and was a member of the WhatsApp group “Reviving Islam”, with around 400 Pakistani members.

He was in touch with many Pakistani persons on social media platforms and was broadcasting the anti -national ideology. On the other hand, evidence of realizing the dream of Gajwa -e -Hind on social media.

The second accused has been identified as Dr. Usama Maj Sheikh, a resident of Thane district of Maharashtra and was a mentor of Ajmal Ali. The two used to have anti -India things on the Instagram and signal app and used to talk about implementing Sharia law in India.

The other person’s name is Nauman Elahi, hails from Uttar Pradesh. It is a security guard in Panipat by profession. The third person is named Devendra Singh Dhillon, who hails from Kaithal and the fourth man is named Armaan, who is a resident of Rajaka village of Nuh. All of them are accused of spying for Pakistani intelligence agencies and shared sensitive information related to Indian defense establishments.
