Pakistan is known as a fundamentalist Islamic country. In such a situation, about 97 percent of the population of Pakistan follows the religion of Islam. But just think, what if a person in Pakistan wearing kurta pajama and a cap greets you and says Jai Shri Ram? Recently, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media in which a Pakistani man greets the vlogger by saying Jai Shri Ram and then starts talking.

Pakistani man said Jai Shri Ram

In fact, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media in which a Pakistani vlogger approaches a man selling a burger in the streets of Pakistan, who is wearing a kurta pajama and a cap. As soon as the vlogger says Jai Shri Ram to that person, the person from the other side also says Jai Shri Ram while greeting the vlogger, after which the vlogger is surprised for a while but then asks the burger seller his name.

This was the reason for saying Jai Shri Ram

As soon as the burger seller is asked his name, he immediately says that my name is Bablu Kumar. After this the vlogger tells that this Bablu Kumar is a Sindhi Hindu. After this the person says that he is making Tikka Burger which is made from potato and lentils and its price is 50 Pakistani rupees. After this the vlogger says Jai Shri Ram to the burger seller and leaves from there. The video is now viral on social media and various reactions are coming on the internet regarding it.

Also read: As soon as the python saw the crowd, it spit out its live prey, there was a stir as soon as the monitor lizard was thrown out of its mouth, the horrifying video went viral.

Users were also surprised

The video has been shared from a Facebook account named Sindhi Anil Kapoor, which has been viewed by millions of people so far and many people have also liked the video. In such a situation, social media users are giving different types of reactions regarding the video. One user wrote… Jai Shri Ram in Pakistan also. Another user wrote… Glad to see that Hindus live in Pakistan too. So another user wrote… A burger of Rs 50 is very cheap, brother.

Nikita Nagdev, a resident of Karachi, Pakistan, has released a video and made serious allegations against her husband Vikram Nagdev. Nikita says that her husband is going to leave her in Karachi and marry her quietly for the second time in India. He has appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for help in getting justice.

According to the report of NDTV, Nikita told that on 26 January 2020, both of them got married as per Hindu customs in Karachi. After this, Vikram brought him to India on 26 February 2020. In the beginning everything was normal, but within a few months the circumstances changed completely. As soon as she stepped into her in-laws’ house, she started feeling that her husband’s attitude was becoming distant.

Accused of leaving them at Attari border and sending them to Pakistan

Nikita claimed that on July 9, 2020, her husband took her to Attari border saying there was a problem with her visa and left her there. After this she returned to Pakistan alone. According to Nikita, she repeatedly asked for permission to come to India, but her husband and his family made no efforts.

Allegation of affair with relative

Nikita also said that after some time of marriage, she came to know that Vikram was having an affair with one of her relatives. When she complained to her in-laws, she was dismissed saying that it was not a big deal for boys to have relationships. She started feeling alone and unsafe, especially during the lockdown when she was forced to return to Pakistan.

Claim to have information about preparations for second marriage in India

After reaching back to Karachi, Nikita came to know that Vikram was preparing to marry a woman from Delhi. After getting this information, he lodged a complaint on 27 January 2025 and started the legal process.

The matter was not resolved

As the dispute progressed, it reached the Sindhi Panch Mediation and Legal Consultancy Center authorized by the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The Center sent a notice to Vikram and his alleged fiancee, but the talks did not yield any solution. The report dated April 30, 2025 said that both the husband and wife are not Indian citizens, hence this matter falls under the jurisdiction of Pakistan. In the report, it was advised to send Vikram to Pakistan and settle the matter there.

Indore administration is also conducting a separate investigation

Nikita had also put this issue before the Indore Social Panchayat in May 2025. Indore Collector Ashish Singh has confirmed that the administration has started investigating the matter and further action will be taken after receiving the report.

There are 1800 places of worship for Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan, out of which only 37 are functioning. That means 1763 places of worship are closed. On December 3, Pakistan’s parliamentary committee was told that out of a total of 1800 sites, only 37 were active. There are two big reasons for this…

The population of Hindus and Sikhs in these areas is very less.

The government agency doing maintenance is not working properly.

On December 3, the first meeting of the Parliamentary Minority Caucus was held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Its chairman is Senator Danesh Kumar. The rights of Hindus, Sikhs and other minorities were discussed in the meeting. The committee adopted its rules of work unanimously. The committee has demanded from the government that these sites should be restored. Better facilities should be provided to minorities in education and jobs.

What are the statistics of places of worship in Pakistan?

A total of 1285 places of worship (temples) of Hindus.

532 Gurudwaras of Sikhs.

In total about 1800 sites.

But only 37 are operational.

Actually, after the partition of 1947, Hindu-Sikh communities left these areas and now their numbers are less there. Also, the government organization named Evaki Trust Property Board (ETPB) is not taking proper care of them. Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani (leader of the Sikh community) criticized ETPB and said that this institution has failed in fulfilling its responsibilities.

What recommendations did the committee make?

The Chairman of ETPB should be made a non-Muslim.

All 1800 sites should be restored.

This place should remain as heritage and Hindu-Sikh people coming from other areas can worship there.

Scholarships for minority students should be increased.

Hateful and discriminatory material should be removed from school books (in English and Urdu).

Religious studies should be limited to books of that religion only.

The 20 numbers extra which are given for Hifz-e-Quran, should be the same for minorities also.

Job quota for non-Muslims should be increased.

Senior officers of at least Additional Secretary level should attend the committee meetings.

Senator Danes Kumar said, ‘This caucus will work to implement the guarantees of the Constitution in real life, so that practical protections and policy changes can be achieved for non-Muslims.’

MNA Kesu Mal Khial Das told Pakistani newspaper Dawn that most of the temples and gurudwaras were abandoned in 1947 as the local communities left. But the government should take care of them, so that people from all over the country can come and worship.

Voice raised for minorities in Pakistan
This meeting is a big step for the minorities. The committee has promised that work will be done expeditiously on repair of places of worship, equality in education-jobs and heritage conservation. If these recommendations are implemented, the Hindu-Sikh community in Pakistan will get more security and respect.
