Despite facing atrocities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, thousands of people are standing at the Idgah ground of Rawalkot for the 12th day today and challenging the Pakistani government day and night for their rights. Yesterday, Pakistani Rangers opened fire on 70 protesters living in Battal village of PoJK near LoC who were going to Rawalakot.

Similarly, till now 58 unarmed Kashmiris have been killed by Pakistani army. In such a situation, people are exposing the genocide of the Pakistani government and telling how the Kashmiris, who have been demanding their rights for the last 12 days, are being gunned down and even their dead bodies are not being given to them. Many Kashmiri youth who came to protest have been made missing by the Pakistani Army and it is not known whether they are alive or not.

According to the protesters, this does not happen even in Palestine as Pakistani Army, Rangers, FC, Sindh Police are doing in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Khwaja Mehran, one of the main organizers of the midnight protest against the ongoing firing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir for the last 12 days, said that the Pakistani Army and ISI are firing on Kashmiris at the behest of the drug mafia.

‘Pakistani Army has been carrying out terrorist activities since June 5’

Khawaja Mehran challenged from the stage that he is ready to prove that the Pakistani Army, which is carrying out terrorist activities since June 5, is doing so at the behest of the drug mafia and he also has evidence of the connection of Brigadier (Faiq Ayub), Colonel (Zaheer) with the drug mafia of PoJK.

Arrangements to starve people of PoJK

Even on the 12th day of the protest, the borders of PoJK are sealed, trucks carrying food items are standing, Pakistani Army is making arrangements to starve the people of PoJK and people are linking the condition of PoJK with Palestine. In such a situation, another organizer of the protest, Sardar Umar Nazir, said that just like Nawasa-e-Rasool was murdered by keeping him hungry and thirsty, there are preparations to do the same with us but we have to stand firm.

Internet closed from 5th June

Let us tell you that since June 5, the internet is closed in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. A crowd of more than 70 thousand people has gathered in Rawalakot and more than 20 thousand Pakistani Army soldiers, Rangers and Sindh Police have surrounded Poonch district of PoJK. In such a situation, it remains to be seen in which direction this rebellion of PoJK will ultimately go.

Trump’s Abraham Accord: Such a dilemma has arisen in front of Pakistan, in which even if it accepts, it will be trapped and if it denies, it will be in more trouble. In fact, US President Donald Trump held a high-level conference call with many countries including Pakistan over the weekend.

According to ‘Axios’, Trump appealed to more and more Muslim countries to join the Abraham Accords after the Iran war, which directly means giving formal recognition to Israel. According to reports, after this proposal there was silence in the call for some time. After this, Trump jokingly asked other countries including Pakistan whether they were still on the line.

Why did Pakistan get stuck?

Actually, Pakistan’s problem is that on one hand it is trying to play the role of peace messenger between America and Iran, while on the other hand this proposal of Trump has put it in a state of confusion. If Pakistan accepts this proposal, it will have to face domestic opposition and compromise with its traditional foreign policy, while its refusal may affect its relations with America. This is why this proposal has become a big diplomatic challenge for Pakistan.

The issue of Palestine has always been very emotional for the people of Pakistan. In such a situation, giving formal recognition to Israel without any clarity would be like sitting on a pile of gunpowder which can explode at any time.

It’s like sitting on a pile of gunpowder for Pakistan.

Both the Pakistan Army and the Shahbaz government know very well that establishing formal relations with Israel could prove to be a politically suicidal move for them.

It is noteworthy that the Abraham Accords were signed in the year 2020 during the first term of US President Donald Trump. At that time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign Ministers of United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were also present in the White House along with Trump. However, Pakistan maintained distance from this agreement and expressed its reluctance regarding it, calling it unfavorable for the concept of ‘New Middle East’.

At that time, Pakistan’s then Prime Minister Imran Khan had also refused to join the Abraham Accords, saying that doing so would be against Pakistan’s long-standing support of the ‘two-nation solution’ and its foreign policy principles.

US President Donald Trump on Monday said he has urged Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey, including Qatar, to join the Abraham Accords to normalize ties with Israel as he seeks to end the conflict with Iran. Trump also said that he had discussed the issue with several countries on Saturday, and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have already signed the agreement.

Jamaat President Syed Saadatullah Hussaini expressed deep concern and disappointment over the Prime Minister’s visit to Israel amid the serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza. At a time when Gaza is witnessing the largest humanitarian catastrophe in contemporary times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel and public meeting with Israeli leadership is disappointing and worrying. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind President Syed Saadatullah Hussaini said this in a statement issued to the media.

Prime Minister disappointed millions of Indians with his attitude: Hussaini

He said that the Prime Minister’s speeches and his attitude in public during this visit have deeply disappointed millions of Indians who are proud of India’s historical role as the voice of justice and protector of the oppressed. At a time when credible international human rights organizations, UN officials and humanitarian agencies have described Israel’s actions in Gaza as war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, the lack of bold and articulate condemnation was both unexpected and painful.

Syed Saadatullah Hussaini said that India has historically opposed apartheid, colonial occupation and racial discrimination in all parts of the world. India’s moral standing in world affairs is built not just on strategic interests but on civilizational values based on justice, compassion and solidarity with the oppressed. The people of India hoped that their Prime Minister would maintain this legacy during this visit.

He further said that Israel’s long-term occupation of Palestinian land, its practice of discrimination, which well-known international human rights organizations call apartheid, and the large-scale destruction and killings taking place in Gaza are not just a political fight, but a serious moral crisis for humanity. On the one hand, the symbolic gestures of love and normalcy with the Israeli leadership, and on the other hand, the lack of clear and courageous concern for the Palestinian plight, which has caused deep sorrow to millions of Indians, whose conscience is always aligned with justice.

The Jamaat president emphasized that India’s freedom struggle itself was a moral fight against colonial domination and injustice. India’s national identity and respect across the world were built on its steadfast commitment to truth, justice and respect for all human beings. Any silence or moral confusion in the face of widespread suffering and systemic oppression could undermine that legacy of pride and undermine India’s credibility as an important voice for the Global South.

Indians consider Palestine a moral and humanitarian issue: Hussaini

Syed Saadatullah Hussaini said that the people of India consider the Palestinian question not just a geopolitical issue but a moral and humanitarian issue. The soul of India has always stood with the oppressed people, no matter their religion, geography or political advantage. India’s civilizational thinking – reflected in its freedom movement and constitutional values, appeals to its leadership to speak out truthfully and courageously against injustice.

Reiterating the consistent and principled stand of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Saadatullah Hussaini said that the Jamaat has always opposed colonial occupation, apartheid and injustice, and has always stood for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. This comes not from political convenience, but from the moral principles around the world and the same values of freedom, respect and justice that inspired India in its fight for independence.

He concluded his speech by saying that India’s real strength lies not only in its economic or strategic strength, but in its moral voice. It is this moral voice – the conscience of India and the soul of its civilization – that must continue to guide its leadership in times of historical injustice.

In a super-exclusive conversation with ABP News, Palestinian Foreign Minister Warsen Agabekian Shahin spoke openly on the rapidly changing geopolitical circumstances in West Asia and their deep impact on the Palestinian struggle. Foreign Minister Shahin said, ‘The Israel-Palestine conflict is no longer just a dispute over land or borders. This conflict is affecting the politics, security system and global diplomacy of the entire West Asia. According to him, the impact of the ongoing instability in Palestine is clearly visible on the security of neighboring countries, international trade routes, energy supply and global alliances.

Palestine Foreign Minister Warsen Agabekian Shahin reacted about Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview. Talking about the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, ‘India’s position is special because it is a friend of both Israel and Palestine.’ He expressed hope that India can play the role of a bridge and make a positive contribution in carrying forward the peace process based on its values of democracy, human rights and international law.

Beginning of peace and expectations from Israel

Regarding the peace process, Minister Shahin said that it should start with the honest intentions of Israel. According to him, Israel has to understand that its own security is not possible without the security of its neighbors. He said that peace has a price and it is essential to show political will to pay that price.
Netanyahu government and international pressure

Talking about the current Netanyahu government of Israel, Minister Shahin said that Netanyahu has been openly giving statements against the Palestinian state. In such a situation, it is not practical to expect peace initiatives from them without any international pressure. He said that it will be necessary to create pressure from wherever there is influence, from America to India.

Palestine’s Foreign Minister Dr. Warsen Agabekian Shaheen, who is visiting India, has expressed hope that Palestine will soon be free from Israeli occupation. Not only will peace be restored there but Gaza will also be rebuilt.

In a special conversation with ABP News, Dr. Shaheen said that as long as Benjamin Netanyahu is the Prime Minister of Israel, he does not have much hope from Israel because he has repeatedly said that he will continue to occupy Palestine. On Donald Trump’s peace proposal, Dr Shaheen also said that he hopes from Trump that he will be able to restore peace in Palestine and for this he will also put pressure on Israel.

What are the expectations from India? Palestine minister told

When Dr. Shaheen was asked what his expectations were from India, he said that India and Palestine have a very old relationship which has been going on since 1947. India has been one of the first countries which has recognized Palestine and India is a friend of Palestine as well as Israel, so only one friend can persuade the third friend to help by talking to another friend and this is our expectation from India.

Dr. Shaheen, who came to India for special talks with the ministers of Arab countries, said that no solution will be found in this conversation with the ministers of Arab countries in India, but we will definitely be able to talk about what the Arab countries should do for Palestine. What should happen in the future in Gaza? This meeting is important for us so that we can garner support for ourselves from all sides.

What did the Palestinian Foreign Minister say on PM Modi’s visit to Israel?

This visit of Dr. Shaheen to India is also important in the context that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Israel soon. In such a situation, when the Foreign Minister of Palestine was asked what other expectations Palestine has from India, she said that India can play a big role in this because India is a friend of Israel and a friend of Palestine too and can give suggestions as per the need. India has always been in favor of democracy, human rights and international laws, and we expect India to recognize the country’s theory.

Netanyahu-Trump’s influence on Israel: Shaheen

When the Foreign Minister was asked about Donald Trump’s peace talks, he said that there are expectations from Trump only because Netanyahu has told the whole world that he will officially occupy the West Bank. Trump has just done what no one has been able to do before him. We know that Trump has a good influence on both Netanyahu and Israel and he can make Israel agree to peace.

What did Dr. Shaheen say on the protests in Iran?

On the ongoing protests and slogans being raised in Iran, Palestine’s Foreign Minister said that Iran is an independent country and the people there will decide in which direction Iran should go. Our goal is Palestine and as a Palestinian I want Palestine to be free. Therefore, we will continue to raise such a voice which is the path of peace.

What did the Palestinian minister say on Hamas?

Will Hamas allow peace to be established? Will Hamas give up its weapons, which was talked about in this peace agreement and will the people of Palestine stop supporting Hamas, because Netanyahu makes the same allegations again and again and India also sees Hamas as a terrorist organization. In response to this question, the Palestinian Foreign Minister said that everyone will have to accept this peace agreement. Both Israel and Hamas. Not every citizen of Palestine is a supporter of Hamas. Yes, emotionally some people may be with Hamas, because what should people do when our voice is not heard peacefully. India also adopted the path of non-violence and armed struggle during independence.

We are supporters of peace, not violence of Hamas: Dr. Shaheen

Palestine’s official line is non-violence. We have been following the path of non-violence since 1988, but something must be achieved through non-violence. If nothing is achieved then questions definitely arise. Yes. If Hamas wants to join the political scene of Palestine, they will have to join PLO. Because PLO means peace. We are supporters of peace, not the violence of Hamas.

What did Shaheen say on Priyanka Gandhi’s Palestinian bag?
When Palestine’s Foreign Minister was asked about Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s Palestine bag, she said that we too are saying that Palestine has to be independent. And I would like to say that more people should talk about the independence of Palestine and India can play a big role in this.

Pakistan has accepted US President Donald Trump’s invitation to join the Gaza Peace Board. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed this on Wednesday (21 January 2026). To bring permanent peace between Israel and Palestine, America invited leaders of different countries to join the ‘Gaza Board of Peace’, in which India’s PM Narendra Modi is also included.

Pakistan will join Trump’s ‘Gaza Peace Board’

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said, ‘Pakistan announces its intention to join the Peace Board in response to the invitation extended by United States President Donald Trump to Shehbaz Sharif.’ The statement further said that Pakistan hopes that this will implement a permanent ceasefire and humanitarian aid will reach the Palestinians. Also, concrete steps will be taken towards the reconstruction of Gaza.

What did the Pakistani Foreign Ministry say?

According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the statement said, ‘Pakistan also hopes that these efforts of Trump will give the people of Palestine the right to self-determination. This can be possible only through a political process, which will be in accordance with United Nations resolutions. This would result in the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestine based on pre-1967 borders. Pakistan is ready to play its role in ending the suffering of Palestinian brothers and sisters.

UN welcomed America’s step

The United Nations has welcomed the beginning of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire announced by the US. Farhan Haq, deputy spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said the UN considers any step that alleviates civilian suffering and helps recovery as a positive initiative.

At present the situation in Gaza is such that about 8 lakh people are forced to live in areas at serious risk of floods. The United Nations Aid Coordination Agency (OCHA) reported that about 40 percent of the total population, or about 8 lakh people, are now living in areas that are at risk of flooding and where, due to winter storms and heavy rains, their shelters have become uninhabitable. Also, more than 60 residential buildings in Gaza City are in danger of collapse.

India has not yet taken any final decision on joining the ‘Board of Peace’ proposed by US President Donald Trump regarding Gaza. The political, diplomatic and strategic aspects of this initiative are under intense consideration within the government. According to sources familiar with the matter, this proposal deals with many sensitive issues, hence caution is being taken before reaching any final decision.

Indian officials have acknowledged that India has received a formal invitation to join this global initiative. However, it has also been made clear that receiving the invitation and attending it are two different things. India’s foreign policy has long been based on balance and strategic autonomy, keeping this in mind this proposal is being reviewed.

What is India’s stand?

According to sources, India’s traditional stance still remains that a permanent solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict is possible only through the two-nation theory. India supports every effort that sincerely moves towards lasting peace and stability in the region, but before joining any multilateral forum, it is considered necessary to examine its long-term effects. Donald Trump has recently shared the concept of this ‘Board of Peace’ by sending a letter to the leaders of about 60 countries.

The main concern of the Indian side

The main concern of the Indian side is that the scope of the proposed board may extend beyond Gaza in the future. It is feared that at some level this forum may also bring sensitive and internal issues like Kashmir under the ambit of discussion, which will not be acceptable to India. In this context, Trump’s old claims are also being remembered, in which he had taken credit for mediation in ending the limited military conflict between India and Pakistan in May 2025. India had then clarified that the ceasefire was the result of direct talks between the military officials of the two countries and not the mediation of any third party.

France’s cautious stance

Like India, France is also adopting a cautious stance regarding this proposal. Sources associated with the French Presidential Office have indicated that Paris is currently not in favor of joining this board. France, together with its partner countries, is assessing the legal framework of this initiative and its impact on the UN system. The French side believes that the proposed charter is not limited to Gaza only and it may conflict with the existing principles of the United Nations and the multilateral system.

Confirmation of invitation to join the board

Countries like European Union, Russia, Belarus and Thailand have confirmed receiving invitation to join this board. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has said that he has accepted this proposal in principle, although the final terms are yet to be decided. It is being told that this board is connected to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

Announcement of formation of executive committee

The White House has also announced the formation of an executive committee to implement this plan. This committee includes names like US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and World Bank President Ajay Banga.

Also read: Will America send troops to capture Greenland? Donald Trump gave such an answer, Britain and France will be shocked to hear this.

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti has posted a picture of Palestine’s flag on social media in support of it. In this post he wrote Palestine’s slogan, ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.’ This post of Mehbooba Mufti has come at a time when Jammu and Kashmir Police has summoned a local cricketer for showing the Palestine flag on his cap during a match.

What is the meaning of Mufti’s slogan?

The Palestine slogan mentioned by Mehbooba Mufti means the formation of a Palestinian state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Israel supporters say that such slogans are often raised by their adversary Palestinian groups. This slogan denies the existence of Israel.

Kashmiri cricketer puts Palestinian flag on his helmet

During the Jammu and Kashmir Champions League match, the flag of Palestine was placed on the helmet of a cricketer. After being recorded on camera during batting, a mark made of the Palestine flag was seen on his helmet. After this the police sent summons to the cricketer. Police are trying to find out under what circumstances the Palestinian flag was shown.

Police said that the cricketer called for questioning has been identified as Furkan Bhat. The incident occurred on Wednesday (31 December 2025) during the match between JK11 Kings and Jammu Trailblazers in the Jammu and Kashmir Champions League cricket tournament.

Police investigating Kashmiri cricketer case

By interrogating the cricketer and the organizer of the tournament, the police is trying to find out whether the necessary permissions were taken or not. It is also being ascertained whether there was any violation of the tournament guidelines and what was the real intention behind displaying the flag during the sporting event.

In July last year, four youths were arrested for allegedly wearing T-shirts bearing the Palestinian flag during a Muharram procession in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. In the same month, another man was arrested for allegedly waving a Palestinian flag during a Muharram procession in Agra.

Australian PM Anthony Albanese has apologized to the Jewish community regarding the Bondi Beach attack. He said he felt deep responsibility for the incident and promised that his government would never allow terrorists to divide Australian society. On December 14, two father-son duo opened fire on the Jewish community celebrating Hanukkah on Bondi Beach, killing 15 people and injuring many.

According to IANS report, Albanese has also responded to the allegations of Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu. He said that there is no link to this incident with recognition of Palestine. Netanyahu said in a statement on December 15 that the Australian government did nothing to stop anti-Semitism and rewarded terrorism by recognizing Palestine, which led to the attack.

Australia recognized Palestine as a state in September, as part of an international effort to achieve a two-state solution, a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages by Hamas. Netanyahu said that Australia’s policies are weakness instead of weakness and appeasement instead of appeasement. On Monday (December 22, 2025), Albanese responded to these allegations, while talking to journalists on the Bondi Beach attack, saying that he did not agree with any such thing. There is no link to this attack with recognition of Palestine.

Albanese said, ‘This attack had the imprint of ISIS. We know that ISIS is an ideology, a distorted form of Islam that fundamentally has nothing to do with the recognition of any nation, it wants a caliphate. He said he was now able to provide a more comprehensive response after the court released more details on Monday morning.

PM Albanese further said, ‘This is an extremist ideology that wants a caliphate as its goal. Now there is evidence… some of which, of course, is not public yet, and I don’t want to interfere with those investigations, but it is very clear that this is anti-Semitism. It is clear that this is an extremist position of a distorted form of Islam, close to ISIS. These people are not even shy about their inspiration. According to Albanese, people will have to keep an eye on those facts.

On 16 December, Albanese announced that the government would criminalize hate speech and incitement to violence, ban Nazi salutes, increase funding to protect Jewish sites and tighten gun laws.

At least 13 people have been killed in an Israeli airstrike near a Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon. The country’s Health Ministry has confirmed this. Israel claimed that its targets were Hamas members, while Hamas has described these allegations as ‘lies and fabricated stories’.

Israel claims- ‘Hamas training camp targeted’
The Israeli Army (IDF) said that it targeted a ‘training compound’ of Hamas located in the Ein el-Hilweh area. According to him, this place was being used to plan and execute attacks on Israel. Hamas responded by saying that this claim is completely ‘fabricated’ and that they do not have any military bases in the Palestinian camps.

Treatment of injured continues, chaos in the camp
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said that apart from those who died, at least 4 people were injured. In the video that surfaced on social media, it was seen that ambulances were passing rapidly through the narrow streets of Ain al-Hilwe camp and a huge plume of smoke was rising from the area. According to reports, the attack took place outside a mosque, which is usually crowded with people at night.

What allegation did Hamas make?
Hamas condemned the attack, saying that the site targeted by Israel was actually an “open playground” and not a military base. The IDF says it used ‘precision weapons, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence’ to protect civilians from harm before the attack.

Israel-Hamas-Hezbollah conflict intensifies from 2023
On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked southern Israel from Gaza, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostage. According to Gaza’s Hamas-administered Health Ministry, 69,169 Palestinians have died in Gaza so far in Israeli retaliation. The day after the Hamas attack, Lebanon-based Iran-backed organization Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel. After this, the conflict between the two continued for 13 months, which intensified with Israel’s heavy bombardment and ground action in October 2024.

heavy casualties in lebanon
Lebanese officials say that about 4,000 people died in the conflict in the country, including a large number of civilians. Apart from this, more than 12 lakh people were forced to leave their homes. Israel claims that 80 soldiers and 47 civilians from its side were killed in these attacks.
