Companies that advertise pan masala pay huge amounts to celebs. Sunil Shetty has recently revealed that he was offered Rs 40 crore for tobacco advertising. But he had refused for this. Before Sunil Shetty, there are many celebs who have rejected such offers.

Sunil Shetty recently told in a podcast why he did not promote the tobacco brand despite getting huge amount of money. He said- My health is the reason for my success. It is my body that has given Sunil Shetty a chance in the film industry. I would be doing an injustice to myself if I did not treat this as my sacred place. What legacy will I leave for my children?

South star Allu Arjun had rejected an ad of a tobacco company. He gave the reason behind this that he does not promote anything which he does not use. He was offered crores of rupees for this ad.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan also avoids tobacco advertisements. They don’t do ads like this. Once he had done a similar ad due to which he was trolled fiercely on social media. After which he had desisted from such ads.

Aamir Khan does not do tobacco ads. Aamir had said that he does not do such ads which are not good for the society. He stays away from tobacco ads.

John Abraham is a nature lover. He also keeps raising his voice for the conservation of nature. While John Abraham opposes and criticizes such advertisements, he himself stays far away from such advertisements.
