Jitendra Kumar was born on 1 September 1990 in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The journey of coming into the film world was not so easy for him. Many times he had to face opposition from his own family.

With passion towards acting and his hard work, he has created history in the entertainment industry. Through his characters, Jitendra Kumar has made his place in the heart of the audience. Although the journey of his success was not easy, but today he has become the king of OTT.

Jitendra Kumar did his schooling from Alwar, after this he came to Kharagpur for further studies and did B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. In the early days, he worked in a Japanese company.

But he did not feel like in that company and later he started playing theater with his college senior. But his family did not support him on the decision to make a career in the acting world.

After this, he applied to the National School of Drama in Delhi but in the second round he rejected and went to Mumbai. After this, Jitendra Kumar made his mark from house to house by playing the role of Jeetu Bhaiya in the ‘Kota Factory’ in 2019.

His character became so hit from this webseries that students started seeing him as a mentor. His simplicity and the art of killing the characters makes him extremely popular among the young audience. After this, in the popular series ‘Panchayat’, the simplicity of rural India was beautifully introduced.

Jitendra Kumar worked more careful with Ayushmann Khurrana. The specialty of the actor is that they show equal amazing in both comedy and emotional seins. With this act, he is so popular among the audience today.

Panchayat in Waves 2025: A big achievement has been added to the successful web series ‘Panchayat’ presenting rural life, politics and relationships in a light funny manner. The ‘Panchayat’ series has become the first series to attend the Waves Summit held in Mumbai.

On the third day of Waves held from 1 to 4 May, the ‘Making of Panchayat: Grassroot Story Telting’ will be held, in which the actors of the series including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta will discuss the story of the panchayat and other issues. The series, which has completed three magnificent stops, stars Nina Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Jitendra Kumar in important roles. So far, three seasons of ‘Panchayat’ have come. The manufacturers have also announced the fourth season.

PM Modi inaugurated Waves Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the first World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves) at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. PM Modi said in his address that today artists, investors and policy makers from more than 100 countries in Mumbai have gathered under one roof simultaneously. In a way, the foundation of an eco-system of global talent and global creativity is being laid here today.

PM Modi said in Waves- “World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit i.e. Waves .. It is not just an acronum. This is a wave- of culture, creativity. Waves is a global platform that belongs to every artist, every producer like you. Where every artist, every young will be associated with the creative world with a new scheme. “

The first feature film was released in India in 1913

He said, “Today is May 1. 112 years ago today, the first feature film Raja Harishchandra was released in India on May 3, 1913, its producers were Dadasaheb Phalke ji and yesterday it was his birth anniversary. In the past century, Indian cinema has succeeded in taking India in every corner of the world.”

The Waves Summit is a four -day. It is being held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many Bollywood stars are participating in this conference, names like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Aamir Khan to Deepika Padukone.
