TV and film actor Pankaj Dheer is no longer with us, but his memory and absence are still very heavy for his daughter-in-law Kritika Sengar. In a recently shared social media post, Kritika expressed her pain and told that Pankaj was not just her father-in-law but like a father, and always treated her like his daughter.

Kritika remembered Pankaj Dheer’s love
Kritika Sengar shared a picture of late Pankaj Dheer on social media on Thursday and wrote that he never liked being called ‘father-in-law’. He always used to say, “This is my daughter,” and always gave Kritika love and care like his own daughter. There was always a special twinkle in his eyes, and when he asked, “Who is the best girl in the world?” So Kritika used to smile and answer, ‘Me’

Kritika said- He was not father-in-law, he was father and friend.
Kritika further told that she was shy to say “I love you dad”, but you did not stop until I said it easily. This was his way of expressing his love. He was not just my father-in-law, but my father, friend and my safe place. The moments and long conversations spent with him are fond of his memory now, and the silence of the house without him feels very heavy.

Will remember you as the best dada
Kritika further wrote, “Your love for Devika will always be remembered. She will always remember you as her beloved Dadu. I love you dad.” Pankaj Dheer died on 15 October 2025. At the age of 68, he said goodbye to this world while fighting cancer. Close friend Salman Khan and many stars attended his funeral.
