Amidst the process of organizational change in the Bharatiya Janata Party unit of Uttar Pradesh, sources claim that the state may get a new Deputy Chief Minister. If sources are to be believed, the name of former MP Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti is at the forefront in this race.

According to the information, there will be cabinet expansion after the election of UP BJP President. 6 new people can join the cabinet. There are currently 54 ministers in the UP government and a total of 60 can be made.

According to sources, some ministers may also be removed. Samajwadi Party rebels may also get a place in the possible expansion of the cabinet. 2 to 3 rebel ministers can be made.

According to sources, Pankaj Singh, son of Defense Minister and MP from Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency Rajnath Singh and MLA from Noida Assembly seat, can also become a minister.

Along with this, current UP BJP chief Bhupendra Chaudhary will join the cabinet. Talking about SP rebels, there is talk of making Pooja Pal and Manoj Pandey ministers. Along with this, there is talk of including Mahendra Singh in the cabinet.

UP BJP President: From 1980-2025 till now, including 6 Brahmins, 3 Kurmi, 1 Lodhi, how many from which caste in 45 years?

According to sources, in the possible cabinet expansion, a minister can be made not only from BJP but also from Rashtriya Lok Dal and Apna Dal. However, all this process will happen after the election of BJP UP President.

Amidst all this, the reaction of UP BJP Chief Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary has come to light. Regarding organizational changes in the party, Choudhary said that Bharatiya Janata Party is an organizationally big party. Any worker of the organization can become the state president. We have been running the great festival of the organization throughout the year. Now taken to the process of electing the state president. Nominations will be held tomorrow and the state president will be officially announced the day after tomorrow.

The Delhi government has decided to extend the existing EV Policy till 31 March 2026. This decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. To achieve the objective of Green Delhi, the government has increased this policy till 31 March next year. In such a situation, Delhi’s Transport Minister Pankaj Singh said that suggestions will be taken from people on the draft of the new policy, which is likely to take time.

The current EV policy was introduced by the Aam Aadmi Party during its rule in 2020, which ended in August 2023. Since then, this policy has been extended many times.

In view of the critical condition of air pollution in Delhi, the government is considering this policy as an important step, so that a clean and sustainable transport policy can be made in the coming time.

According to Pankaj Singh, the reason behind increasing the time of EV policy is that private companies, people and industry experts, environmental organizations can be discussed with all the necessary aspects.

Deadline was also increased before this

According to an HT report, the Delhi government had extended the EV policy for four months on July 15 last week. The deadline for this policy was November 15.

During this time, the officials associated with the case had told last week that the draft of the new policy is still under review, which is yet to be approved.

Now the Delhi government has once again increased the deadline of the EV policy to 31 March 2026.

Pankaj Singh says that during this extended period, the major provisions of the policy will be discussed.
