Her condition was very critical during surgery and she only expected 50-50 per cent that she would survive or run again. The operation was successful and some of Haley’s capabilities returned, but their spine had suffered permanent loss.

How can there be such a big danger from boredom?

But if a person takes a lot of loud bang and suddenly there is a sudden pressure on the neck, then it can spoil the weak bones of the spine or any problem already present. The C6 and C7 are important part of the vertebra neck, which support the spinal cord. If these bones suddenly slip, then there may be pressure on the veins and a serious condition like paralysis can arise.

Effect on Hailey’s life

After this incident, Haley and his family were completely affected. She says that she could not work, could not take care of the children and even the family had to face financial crisis. He also suffered a disease called fibromyalgia, which causes persistent pain and fatigue in the body. Hailey says that now she is also afraid of taking boredom. Every time when boredom comes, they try to stop it because this incident still affects them mentally and physically.

Experts believe that this is a very rare matter. But it definitely tells that we should not take the signs of our body lightly. If suddenly a stretching, boredom or simple action after a sharp pain, tingling or numbness, then a doctor should be contacted immediately.
