In case of flight delay, passengers have to face problems, expenses and stress. Keeping in view the problems of passengers, DGCA i.e. Director General of Civil Aviation made strict rules in the year 2019. According to these rules, passengers have been given some rights.

If a flight is delayed by 6 hours then the airlines have to provide an alternative flight or a full refund to the passengers. The company is also responsible for the hotel and food if there is a delay of 24 hours or more. If the passenger has reached the airport on time and checked in and then the flight gets delayed.
