American devices maker Apple’s Smartwatch’s shipments have declined for the second consecutive year. The company has recorded a decrease in the appearance of Apple Watch in most Regons including North America. The lack of new smartwatch models behind this and low upgrade of the company’s current smartwatch is the main reasons.

This is the second consecutive year in which Apple making iPhone has to record a decrease in smartwatches. The share of Chinese companies in this market has increased rapidly.

Apple’s reduction in shortwatches shipments is a major reason for company sales in North America. Last year, Apple’s market share has been reduced by about eight percent. Apple Watch Series 10 launched last year is a major cause of decrease in sales of 10 upgrade sales. Apart from this, the company has also suffered losses due to non -launch of Apple Watch SE (3rd Generation) and Apple Watch Ultra 3 models. This report states that Apple Watch SE is an affordable option and has a large stake in the company’s smartwatch sales. In the last few years, Apple has also faced legal difficulties in this segment. There is a dispute between Apple and Medical Technology Company Masimo about the patent. Masimo claims that blood oxygen sensor technology being used in Apple Watch violates many of its patents. Due to this dispute, Apple initially had to stop the sale of its smartwatch in the US. The company then removed the pulse oximetry feature measuring blood oxygen. For these reasons, the company faced a decrease in shipments on a year-by-year basis in such a quarter for the first time in which it launched the new smartwatch series. The share of companies like Xiaomi of China in this market has increased rapidly.
