Punjab Road Accident: A horrific road accident occurred on Wednesday in Samana in Patiala district of Punjab. Six school children and a driver died in a truck and SUV car collision here. Police gave this information. The accident happened on Samana-Patiala Road when the students were coming back from school riding in SUV.

Police said six of the nine students in the vehicle were killed, while a child was seriously injured. The age of the deceased children was 12-13 years old. He said that the driver also died in the accident, while the car was badly damaged. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal have also mourned the deaths.
