According to the police, the arrested accused include Vijay Kant Pandey alias Rudra Pandey alias Dhannu (shooter), resident of Nagpura in Simri police station area of Buxar district and Rajesh Yadav (arms supplier), resident of Khandra ward number-1 of Simri police station area. On the basis of Yadav’s revelations, 190 grams of heroin has also been recovered from a place in Patna.

SSP Karthikeya Sharma said that Rajesh Yadav had reached Patna a day before the incident, he spent the night at the house of his friend Rohit in Anand Vihar Colony of Roopaspur police station area and provided weapons to the shooters.
