In such a situation, it would not be appropriate to take action by filing an FIR against those who were protesting against the incident. No strict action will be taken against those against whom FIR has been lodged.

Prashant Kishore further said while talking to the media that the government has constituted an SIT under IG. Let the investigation be done. Whatever the victim’s family has said, we have put it before the government and administration. SIT has been formed for this, let them take the decision. The victim’s family cannot be suppressed considering them weak, that is why we stand with them.
