The airline also said that traffic on the roads may also be affected in the early morning due to low visibility. Therefore, passengers are advised to leave extra time to reach the airport.

Junior doctors of PMCH, the largest government hospital in the state, have gone on strike. On Thursday (December 04, 2025), OPD and emergency services came to a standstill. The patients and their families who came for treatment had to return. The reason for the strike is the fight between family members and junior doctors last Wednesday (December 03, 2025) morning.

On Wednesday, an elderly patient Suresh Singh died of brain hemorrhage. After this, an argument started between the relatives of the deceased and the junior doctors, which soon turned into a fight. Family members allege that the junior doctor assaulted them and even held them hostage for some time. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the hospital premises.

A complaint has been lodged by both the parties at Pirbahore police station. The patient’s family accused him of negligence in treatment. On the other hand, junior doctors have demanded security.

What do family members say?

Aman, son of the deceased Suresh Singh, had said on Wednesday after the incident, “Father had brain hemorrhage. He was admitted three days ago. Today his condition worsened. ECG was checked. After this, my sister just said that his (father’s) body is warm, please check once because the body gets cold after death. Then objectionable words were spoken to the sister by the doctor. The sister said how can one talk like this. We were also there. The doctor pushed the sister. This is the video. One lakh rupees were snatched in the fight.

Let us tell you that every day there are reports of fighting between family members and doctors in PMCH. It is surprising that till date no such system has been made here as to how to stop it. Sajja Murthy (aged about 52 years), an engineer cum contractor from Andhra Pradesh, died in Patna last Wednesday (November 26, 2025). The incident took place at Rainbow Ground adjacent to Pataliputra Sports Complex in Kankarbagh. On Wednesday morning around 3.30-4.00 am, the iron gate located at the rear of Rainbow Maidan fell, due to which Sajja Murthy got hit and died on the spot.

When people came to know about the incident in the morning, the police arrived. The police sent the engineer’s body for post-mortem. His family members were informed. In this whole matter, Ravi Shankar Singh, the owner of the house in front of the incident site, said, “In the morning we saw the gate falling. The contractor was crushed to death in it.” He also told that the incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in his house.

Actually, construction work is going on in Rainbow Maidan. To get this done, engineer cum contractor Sajja Murthy, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, was staying in the boys hostel of Sports Complex for about a month. A truck loaded with ballast had arrived early on Wednesday. After unloading, the driver drove away with the vehicle. After this Sajja Murthy locked the gate. As soon as he started leaving after locking it, a part of the gate fell on him, crushing him to death. Although the truck had left from there. No one saw this incident. With the swearing in of the new NDA government in Bihar, it has become clear which party has got the maximum number of ministerial posts in comparison to its seats. BJP and JD(U) are the largest parties in the NDA alliance which returned to power with 202 seats, but there seems to be an interesting balance between the two in the distribution of ministerial posts. Nitish Kumar took oath as Chief Minister for the 10th time, while BJP’s Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha became Deputy Chief Ministers.

NDA has a total of 202 seats in the new assembly, in which BJP is the largest party with 89 seats. On the other hand, JDU has 85 seats. Apart from these, LJP (Ram Vilas) has 19 seats, HAM has 5 and RLM has 4 seats.

BJP has got two Deputy Chief Ministers and apart from this, twelve more leaders have been made ministers. These include Mangal Pandey, Dilip Jaiswal, Nitin Naveen, Ramkripal Yadav, Sanjay Singh Tiger, Arun Shankar Prasad, Surendra Mehta, Narayan Prasad, Rama Nishad, Lakhendra Roshan, Shreyasi Singh and Pramod Kumar. In this way, BJP got a total of 14 ministerial posts, which is more than JDU in number, but considering BJP’s seat count (89), its minister per seat ratio is slightly less than JDU.

Even small parties are in trouble
LJP (Ram Vilas) has secured two ministerial posts despite only 19 seats, which is considered a strong bargain compared to its size. Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party HAM has five seats and has got one ministerial post, which is considered a good representation for a small party. Similarly, RLM has four seats and has also got a ministerial post.
