There is good news for the youth waiting for government jobs in Himachal Pradesh. State Selection Commission has issued recruitment notification for 530 posts of Patwari. If you are 12th pass and looking for a government job opportunity, then this recruitment can be a good option for you.

Who can apply?

The most important thing to apply for this recruitment is that the candidate should be a native of Himachal Pradesh. Also, this recruitment is special for those youth who understand the local customs, dialect and language of Himachal because this may also be required in the selection.

Ability

Eligibility for Patwari: It is mandatory to have passed 12th (10+2). Also, it is necessary to have basic computer knowledge like MS Office, typing. Knowledge of local language is necessary. For this recruitment, your age should be between 18 to 45 years. SC/ST/OBC/PWD will get age relaxation as per government rules.

How much will the application fee be?

To apply, candidates will have to pay a total fee of Rs 800, which includes Rs 100 examination fee and Rs 700 processing fee. If after filling the form you have to make corrections in any information, then an additional fee of Rs 100 will be charged. Some category-wise relaxation in fees for SC, ST, OBC or other reserved categories may be available as per the notification, but in general the fee for all the candidates has been fixed at this much.

This is how the selection will be done

Written Examination/(120 Marks)- General Knowledge, Himachal GK, Mathematics, Hindi, English, Computer and Logical Reasoning will be asked in this.

Document Verification- If you pass the exam then you will have to show all the certificates.

Medical Examination- Finally, health test is conducted. Those who clear all three stages are selected for training.

what will be the salary

After selection on the post of Patwari, the candidates will be initially hired as job-trainee and will be given a fixed stipend of Rs 12,500 every month during the training period. After successfully completing the training, the candidates start getting all the allowances along with the regular pay scale, due to which the total salary and facilities increase significantly from before.

Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission UKSSSC has given a big opportunity for recruitment to various posts of Group-C Group C in the state. The Commission has issued an advertisement for recruitment to a total of 416 posts including Patwari, Lekhpal, Village Development Officer. Interested candidates will be able to apply online from 15 April to 15 May 2025.

When will we be able to amend?

After the application process is over, the Commission has also provided the facility to amend the application form from 18 to 20 May. The proposed date of the examination has been fixed on 27 July 2025. Commission Secretary SS Rawat informed that three posts of Assistant Review Officer in the Secretariat, three of personal assistant in the commission, five of Assistant Superintendent in Women Welfare Department, 119 of Patwari in Revenue Department and 61 posts of Lekhpal. Apart from this, 205 of Village Development Officer in Rural Development Department, 16 of Gram Panchayat Development Officer in Panchayati Raj Department, three in Tourism Development Council and one post of Assistant Swagati will also be recruited.

There should be so much qualification

Information about educational qualification, age limit and other qualifications for these posts is given in the advertisement available on the website of the Commission. Talking about the application fee, Rs 300 has been fixed for general, OBC and economically weaker section (EWS) candidates and Rs 150 for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Divyang candidates. The Commission has appealed to the candidates not to apply on time and do not wait for the last date.
