Paytm has launched a feature in its app, which is associated with privacy. With the help of this new ‘Hide Payment’ feature, now users can remove any transaction from their payment history or if you can hide. That is, if you have made such a payment that you do not want anyone else to see, such as a personal gift, surprise expense or sensitive payment, now you can disappear from your history. This transaction will remain missing but will not be completely deleted, but will be saved in a safe section which only users can access.

Paytm ahead also told It is that the new Hide Payment feature is currently rolled out in the latest version of the Paytm app and is gradually becoming active for all users. To activate this feature, the user has to follow the instruction given below;

First of all go to your payment history and select the transaction you want to hide

• Now tap on ‘Hide Payment’ option
• Once the transaction is hidden, he will disappear from the normal history
• Transaction information will go to a separate hidden payments section
• To access this section, the user has to pass authentication, ie methods like PIN, fingerprint or face lock will come in handy.

Paytm says that this feature is specially designed for users who share their phones with others or are in situations where someone can see transaction history on the screen of their phone. Users can also unhystry the hidden transactions whenever they want. In a way, it works like a lockbox for digital privacy. With the increasing use of UPI and digital transactions, this feature can be very useful for many users.
