Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has refused to sign the central contract. According to media reports, Rizwan is the only player among the 30 players who has not signed the contract yet. It is being told that Rizwan did this when some personal demands were not fulfilled.

Rizwan was placed in ‘Category B’ in the new central contract list released by the Pakistan Cricket Board. There are a total of 10 players in this category, in which the name of Babar Azam is also included. It is a shocking matter that this time no player has been kept in ‘Category A’.

This report has come at a time when Rizwan was removed from the post of captain of the ODI team a few days ago. Shaheen Shah Afridi has now become the new ODI captain. Let us remind you that Rizwan became the new ODI captain by replacing Babar Azam in October 2024. His captaincy journey lasted for almost a year.
