The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) divides the reviews generated from this tournament in five Test-playing teams at 15-15 per cent. These countries include the names of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Apart from this 75 percent, 25 percent share goes to associate countries.

From the Asia Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to get 12 to 16 million USD alone, which is a broadcast deal, sponsorship and ticket sale. If Pakistan had boycotted from the Asia Cup, then 16 million US dollars i.e. Rs 141 crore would have gone out of PCB’s hand. In such a situation, Pakistan played the match against UAE despite being the match referee of Andy Picroft and withdrew Boycott.
