On Saturday, a few hours after India and Pakistan agreed to stop military action, New Delhi accused Islamabad of violating the agreement. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had told reporters late on Saturday (11 May 2025) that Pakistan was called to take appropriate steps to end these violations and deal with the situation with ‘severity and responsibility’.

Any danger will be faced with decisive force

The DGMO told reporters, “Saturday (20 May 2025) night and Sunday (11 May 2025), these violations were strongly responded to and were dealt with in the same way as it should be.” Lieutenant General Ghai said that the Indian armed forces have been ‘very restrained’ so far and ‘our action has been concentrated, napi-tuli and non-united’. He said, “However, any danger for the sovereignty, regional integrity and security of our citizens will be faced with a decisive force.”

India sent messages to Pakistan on hotline

The DGMO said, “We sent another message to our counterpart on ‘hotline’ on Sunday (May 11, 2025), in which violations of consent between DGMOs on May 10 were highlighted and said that if it is repeated tonight or after this, we have firm and clear interactions to respond in a fierce and punitive way.” He also mentioned the day -to -day Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi to provide complete exemption to military officers to retaliate in case of any violation of consent to stop military action between India and Pakistan.
