Despite the peace proposal of Donald Trump regarding the ceasefire in Gaza, Israel has continued to attack strongly. On Saturday (October 04), at least 70 Palestinians died in the Israeli air strikes, including 7 children. The age of children is said to be between 2 months to 8 years.

US President Donald Trump said that Hamas has accepted certain conditions, so bombing should be stopped with immediate effect. A residential building in Tufah was specially attacked, in which at least 18 people died. The Al-Masi camp in Southern Gaza was also attacked, in which two children were killed and 8 people were injured. Donald Trump warned that if Hamas does not release the hostages soon, the attacks will start again. Trump also said that Israel has announced to recall his army from Gaza.

He further said that as soon as Hamas Accepted the Agreement, the ceasefire will apply and the exchange of hostages and prisoners will start. Hamas has said that Israel will have to release 2000 Palestinian prisoners instead of hostages. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hamas will have to leave weapons.

The death toll has exceeded 67,000

The number of Palestinians who died in the conflict continued for two years has exceeded 67,000. Gaza’s Health Ministry said that more than 700 new names have been added to the list of the dead and the data has been verified. At the same time, the Israeli army said that it is preparing for the first phase of the plan to end the war in Gaza and return all the remaining hostages. An official said that the army will no longer attack aggressively.

French President Emmanuel Macron immediately reacted to Hamas’s announcement. He said that the release of Israeli hostages and the ceasefire in Gaza are “within possible”. Macron wrote on social media, “Now we have an opportunity to make decisive progress towards peace.” He also thanked Trump’s efforts. He further stated that France will play a full role with the US, Israel, Palestinian and other international partners in accordance with its efforts in the United Nations.

United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres has appealed to all the parties to end this tragic struggle in Gaza. His spokesperson said that Guterres also thanked for the mediation of Qatar and Egypt. Spokesperson Stephen Dujarik said that Guterres also re -appealed for immediate and permanent ceasefire, unconditional release of all hostages and complete access for humanitarian aid.
