The pace of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Buchi Babu Sana’s much awaited sports action drama film ‘Peddi’ has slowed down in the second week. The film was released on June 4 and received mixed to good reviews from critics. Despite the criticism regarding the hyper-sexualization of Jhanvi’s character in the film, the film has managed to make a net collection of Rs 200 crore in India. Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ performed well at the box office in the first week. There was a rise in its earnings on the second weekend also, but now it is once again facing a slowdown on weekdays. There was a decline in the film’s collection on the second Monday and it earned Rs 3.45 crore. There has been a decline in its earnings on the second Tuesday also.

With earnings of Rs 223.55 crore in 13 days of release, ‘Peddi’ has overtaken Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ (218.47 crore) to become the highest-grossing Tollywood film of 2026 at the Indian box office. Now it remains to be seen whether a film will be made that crosses the Rs 250 crore mark this year or not.
