How to submit life certificate?

However, if someone is above 80 years of age or is disabled. So banks and post offices provide them the facility to submit life certificate while sitting at home. For this, bank and post office employees go to homes and collect life certificates.

According to the decision of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet, now the pension of eligible elderly people will start automatically as soon as they complete 60 years of age. The Social Welfare Department will identify eligible beneficiaries using the Family ID system and take their consent through digital medium like SMS, WhatsApp or call. If consent is not obtained through digital means. So the department employees themselves will go and contact them and their consent will be taken. This process will eliminate the hassle of application and the pension will reach every elderly person on time.

With the new system it will now become easier for the elderly to get pension. After automatic marking and consent, the planning officer will issue the approval with digital signature within 15 days. Which will reach the beneficiary through post. After which the pension will be sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries and information about every transaction will be received through message.

But still these employees have a chance to go back to NPS. This window is open to these employees by 30 September 2025.

These employees can go back to NPS instead of UPS. After this, they will not get this opportunity.
