Which pensioners cannot give Digital Life Certificate?

The facility of submitting digital life certificate has been given to such pensioners who have neither taken up employment again nor remarried. If a pensioner takes up a job again or gets married again, the conditions of his pension change.

In such cases, the digital system is not able to detect this change automatically. Therefore, these pensioners have to go to the concerned bank or department and submit the life certificate offline. Besides, they also have to provide some important documents in this regard, so that their records can be updated.

How to submit digital life certificate?

Pensioners can submit their life certificate through both online or offline options. Pensioners can submit life certificate online through Jeevan Pramaan portal or Umang app. Where biometric verification is done through Aadhar card. After this a digital certificate is generated. Apart from this, you can also submit your life certificate offline by visiting the concerned bank branch, CSC center.
