Big change in tax from today

Amidst the stable prices of petrol and diesel, the government has made a major change in the windfall tax on their exports from today. In view of the latest military attacks between America and Iran, the government has increased the tax on export of diesel from Daaz to Rs 15.5 per liter, which was earlier Rs 8.5 per liter. Similarly, on ATF (Air Turbine Fuel), ATF has been increased to Rs 14.5 per liter, which was earlier Rs 7.5 per liter. Meanwhile, giving relief to petrol, the government has reduced the duty on its export to Rs 2.5 per liter, which was earlier Rs 4 per liter.

Why are rates different in different cities?

Petrol-Diesel Rate Today on July 9: Crude oil prices rose by about 6% on Wednesday due to the renewed war between America and Iran. Brent crude futures rose $4.58, or 6.09%, to $78.66 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude rose $4.22, or 6%, to $74.65 a barrel. When will petrol and diesel become cheaper?

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Thursday that there will be no increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country at present. He said that the government has handled the impact of increased global crude oil prices.

When asked about when the prices of petrol and diesel will come down, the Union Minister said that the effect of changes in international crude oil prices is not immediately visible in the retail fuel prices because their purchase, transportation and refining takes time. He said that the crude oil used to make the petrol and diesel currently being sold at fuel stations was purchased about two months ago, when international prices were high. Government oil companies are in no hurry

Petrol-Diesel Rate Today on June 13: The prices of petrol and diesel are fluctuating amid the ongoing conflict in Iran and increasing tension around the Strait of Hormuz. According to PTI report, on the occasion of Raj Thackeray’s 58th birthday on June 14, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) will provide petrol at concessional rates to two-wheeler drivers. The party has tied up with 36 petrol pumps across the city to provide petrol at concessional rates from 9 am on Sunday. What did the Petroleum Minister say?
