On May 15, 2026, petrol prices across the country were increased by Rs 3 14 paise. So there was an increase of 3 rupees 11 paise in the prices of diesel. After just 4 days i.e. on 19th May, petrol in Debhar has increased by 86 paise and diesel by 83 paise. Overall, petrol has become costlier by Rs 4 and diesel by Rs 3.94 paise. Due to which the prices of petrol and diesel have increased and become different in every state.

• In Patna, petrol is available at Rs 110.09 and diesel at Rs 96.11 per litre.

Due to this, huge crowd was seen at many petrol pumps in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Buldhana, Palghar and Chikhali. Due to shortage of diesel and petrol at many places, long lines were formed. Farmers also appeared upset due to not getting diesel for their tractors. No stock situation also emerged at some petrol pumps.

The district administration has asked people to ignore rumors and buy fuel only as per their need. Petrol is available at Rs 110 89 paise per liter in Hyderabad and Rs 110 61 paise per liter in Thiruvananthapuram.
