1. Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store of your phone to claim PF from Umang app. Search the UMANG app and install it.

3. Now go to the homepage of the app and click on EPFO ​​here.

4. Here you will get many options, choose Employee Kentric Services from them, now choose the option of Raise Claim.

5. Now you have to enter your UAN number, again an OTP will come on the mobile, add it and verify it.

6. Now a form will open, in which you will be asked how much money to withdraw and what is the reason for withdrawing money. In such a situation, whatever is the reason, select them.

7. In some cases you may need to upload documents. Such as medical certificate, education proof, home buying agreement etc.

8. After filling all the information, click on Submit ‘button

9. After submitting the claim, you can go to the Track Claim section and see which stage your application is. You will also get notifications in SMS or UMANG app.

Can you also do offline claims?

If your mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, then you can also withdraw PF money in an offline manner. For this, you have to go to the nearest EPFO office and you have to fill the composite claim form. Aadhaar card, PAN card, copy of bank passbook and certificate of employer or signed form with the form.

After submitting the documents, EPFO officers will manually verify your papers and start the claim process. Offline process can usually take 15 to 30 days.
