Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan strongly condemned the statement given by Congress MLA Phool Singh Baraiya regarding girls. He said that such shameful statements should never be made. This is very sad for me personally. Congress MLA Phool Singh Baraiya said in his statement that if a beautiful girl is seen, the mind can get disturbed and rape can happen.

‘Daughters are the form of Mother Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati’

While talking to the media in Bhopal, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that daughters are like goddesses for me. We cannot see daughters being divided on the basis of caste and society. He said that it is said in our tradition that if there is any form of Mother Durga, Lakshmi or Saraswati, then they are our daughters. So, whether it is a leader or any other person, how much will you distribute to the daughters of any caste or community? Will you distribute daughters also?

Shivraj Singh Chouhan reiterated that daughters are for worship, they should not be commented on. Meanwhile, Shivraj Singh Chauhan informed that recently a daughter was raped. At one time the society gets angry, but later it forgets. Today we will deposit Rs 10 lakh in that daughter’s account and her identity will not be made public. When the girl grows up, she will be given Rs 28 lakh, so that she can have a better future.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala also criticized the statement of the Congress MLA. He wrote on social media platform Where is Priyanka Vadra? “Does she believe this false statement?”
