China’s military activities around Taiwan seem to be intensifying once again. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry (MND) informed on Wednesday that seven Chinese naval ships and one official ship were found active in its vicinity. This development has once again underlined the increasing tension in the Indo-Pacific region.

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry posted on social media platform

That is, this time no activity of the Chinese Air Force was recorded, but movement was clearly visible on the maritime front.

Activity increased for the second consecutive day

This is not an isolated incident. A day before this, on Tuesday, Taiwan had also recorded China’s military activities. That day, one Chinese military aircraft, six naval ships and one government vessel were found active around Taiwan.

The MND then said, “As of 6 a.m. today (UTC+8), activity of 1 PLA aircraft, 6 PLAN ships, and 1 official vessel was detected in the vicinity of Taiwan. 1 of the 1 aircraft entered Taiwan’s northern ADIZ area. The ROC Armed Forces monitored the situation and responded.”

The special thing is that the Chinese aircraft also entered the northern part of Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), which is generally considered a sign of increasing tension.

Maritime pressure strategy?

Experts believe that China is now increasingly using “gray zone tactics” to put pressure on Taiwan—that is, a sustained military presence without direct war. This time the absence of air activity and presence of only naval ships is being considered a part of this strategy. This allows China to demonstrate its power without open confrontation and forces Taiwan to remain alert.

Taiwan’s military said it monitored the situation and took necessary countermeasures. However, the nature of this “retaliatory action” was not made public. The increase in Chinese naval activities for two consecutive days is a clear indication that Beijing is continuing its policy of pressure. Although these activities are currently “low-intensity”, but if this pattern continues, larger military exercises or more aggressive steps may be seen in the future. For Taiwan, this is not just a question of security, but an issue of survival and identity.

Taiwan–China dispute: history and present

The dispute between Taiwan and China is not new, but its roots go deep in history. China claims that Taiwan is its integral part. This claim is part of its official policy and is repeated from domestic laws to international forums. Taiwan, on the other hand, considers itself a region with a separate identity. It has its own democratic government, army and strong economy. If we look at history, the Qing dynasty captured Taiwan in 1683. After the Sino-Japanese War in 1895, Taiwan came under the control of Japan and remained a Japanese colony for about 50 years. Taiwan returned to Chinese control after World War II, but a formal determination of its sovereignty was never made clear.

Just as America has kept its eye on Venezuela and Greenland, in the same way China has its eye on Taiwan. China forcibly takes over Taiwan. However, Taiwan considers itself a separate independent country. The way America took action against Venezuela, there were speculations that China could also do the same with Taiwan. Regarding this, John Dotson, director of the Global Taiwan Institute (GTI), has warned that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) can conduct more aggressive and major operations around Taiwan.

The report increased Taiwan’s tension

According to local media, PLA will gain the capability to capture Taiwan by 2027. Ann Kowalewski, a senior non-resident fellow at GTI, said that 2026 is the last year for China’s PLA to reach this capability, Taiwan’s daily newspaper Taipei Times reported. GTI organized a panel discussion titled ‘Thinking Forward for Taiwan Policy in 2026’ in Washington. The GTI highlights China’s increasing pressure against Taiwan in 2025, including the PLA’s ‘Justice Mission 2025’ military exercises. Analysts stressed that 2027 could mark a turning point in cross-Strait relations.

He reminded that in 2021, the then US Indo-Pacific Command chief Admiral Philip Davidson had warned that Xi Jinping had instructed the PLA to be prepared for a possible attack on Taiwan by 2027. Kovalevsky said that much political analysis shows that they are not quite there yet.

‘PRC’s military capability may increase’

He said, ‘This year we can see a huge increase in the military capability of the PRC. It is not clear whether Taiwan and the United States can enhance their military capabilities or think of unique ways to ensure that they can maintain the balance of power in a stable region without discrimination.

Dotson said PLA military exercises in April and December took place near the main island south and southeast of Taiwan and involved more aggressive use of the Chinese coast guard. He said that deploying the Coast Guard completes China’s narrative. China can be justified as a law enforcement patrol rather than a military incursion.

The director of GTI said that China often offers a kind of narrative justification for its military exercises. For example, Taiwan’s President William Lai was held responsible for the policy adopted regarding Chinese incursions in March, while the US package of arms sales to Taiwan in December last year was also cited as the reason for similar exercises. This information has come to light in the report of Taipei Times.

‘Large-scale military exercises are planned first’

The GTI director cast doubt on these claims and said that military exercises on such a large scale are planned well in advance and not in response to any immediate incident. Earlier this month, Taiwan’s National Security Bureau accused the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) of conducting military drills around Taiwan, carrying out cyber attacks, spreading more than 19,000 controversial messages and making millions of hacking attempts.

Taiwan’s daily newspaper Taipei Times reported that these activities are part of China’s broader strategy to increase pressure on Taiwan. In a report to the Legislative Yuan, the agency said the online activity involved 799 strange accounts and was focused on growing suspicions about the US, Taiwan President William Lai and the military. There was mention of concern about Taiwan’s ability to defend itself.

The tension between Taiwan and China appears to be reaching a serious level once again. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry has said that in recent hours, unusual movement of the Chinese army has been recorded in the sea and air areas around it. This activity is being considered as the biggest military presence in the last few months. According to Taiwan’s Defense Ministry, 34 military aircraft of China’s People’s Liberation Army and 11 warships of the People’s Liberation Army Navy were found active around Taiwan. Apart from this, an official Chinese ship was also seen in the area. This development has come to light at a time when the Taiwan Strait has already become a center of regional tension.

In the information given by Taiwan, it has been said that a large number of Chinese planes crossed the median line considered between Taiwan and China. These planes entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone or ADIZ, which the Taipei administration considers a direct provocation.

Chinese aircraft seen in Taiwan area

Chinese military aircraft were seen in the ADIZ areas located in the northern, central, southwestern and eastern parts of Taiwan. The median line has long been regarded as an informal border between the two sides, although China does not recognize it and continues to cross it. After these activities, Taiwan’s army became completely alert. The Defense Ministry said that the Air Force and Navy immediately started surveillance and response. The movements of Chinese aircraft and ships were continuously monitored through radar, electronic surveillance and radio systems.

Statement from Taiwan’s Defense Ministry

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said in its official statement that by morning, Chinese military presence was detected around Taiwan and all necessary steps were taken to control the situation. The ministry also made it clear that there will be no compromise with the country’s security. China considers Taiwan a part of its territory, while Taiwan describes itself as a separate and democratically governed country. Due to this fundamental difference, there has been tension between the two for decades and such military incidents keep coming to the fore from time to time.

China Military Parade: China’s military power is growing rapidly and recently a grand military parade held at Tiananman Square, Beijing, caught the world attention. In this parade, China demonstrated many of its advanced weapons, some of which have the ability to reach the US continent and attack.

US President Donald Trump looked extremely angry with this parade and is considering it to be a friendship and conspiracy against China, Russia and North Korea against America.

Know which are dangerous weapons with China

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is one of the largest armies in the world. By 2025, China is estimated to have around 600 nuclear weapons, which are increasing continuously. These weapons are mainly deployed in ballistic missiles, submarines and bomber aircraft. Intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) DF-31A and DF-41 can reach any part of America. The DF-41 has many independent heads (MIRV) and its range is 11,000 to 15,000 kilometers. The JL-3 ballistic missile launched from the submarine can secretly attack the banks of the US. Hypersonic glide vehicle DF-17 can penetrate the American missile defense system, as it is extremely fast and manuveraged.

Air attack H-6N bomber aircraft can cover long distances and drop cruise missiles or nuclear weapons. FOBS (Fractional Orbital System) can dodge American warning systems from space and attack from the South Pole. All these weapons are part of China’s Anti-access/Area Dinyl (A2/AD) strategy, which are capable of preventing the US Navy from coming to China.

Although the US still has more than 5,000 nuclear weapons, China’s rapid growing ability is a matter of concern for global security. The DF-41 missile can reach big cities in the US like New York and Los Angeles. The JL-3 is launched from the submarine and can stay secretly near the American coasts.

Learn what are ICBM and SLBM
ICBM DF-31A/DF-41 is launched from the ground. DF-41 can carry more than 10 warheads, which can attack several goals simultaneously. Its range is so high that it can reach America in 30-40 minutes. However, the US has the ability to stop a missile defense system like THAAD.

SLBM JL-3 submarines are launched under water. This can suddenly attack America’s shores, as it is difficult to detect submarines. China currently has six such submarines and type 096 submarines are coming, in which 24 missiles can be deployed.

Hypersonic and fobs technology can also blow consciousness

Hypersonic missiles fly at five times the sound of sound, making them difficult to track. The fobs system can dodge America from space. These techniques can neutralize the American missile defense system.

Weapons demonstrated in military parade

On 3 September 2025, China organized a grand military parade on the 80th anniversary of victory over Japan in World War II. It included over 50,000 soldiers, tanks, missiles and drones. President Xi Jinping said that China is not afraid of threats. The parade featured new weapons such as DF-5C ICBM, hypersonic missiles (YJ-21, DF-17), laser air defense system and robot dog drone.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un of North Korea also joined the parade together for the first time. Other guests included the President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. No major leaders from America and Western countries attended the parade.

Trump expressed displeasure

US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that he considers it a conspiracy against Russia, China and North Korea against America. He believes that this alliance is presenting a challenge to the US under Ukraine War and Taiwan tension. Trump described the parade as “very impressive”, but accused it of being organized to show the US.

He said that America’s help should have been mentioned in World War II, but Xi Jinping did not mention it. Along with this, Trump added his tariff policy and political context of the parade, saying that this effort to present China as a global leader highlights their foreign policy failure. Trump later said that the parade was beautiful, but it was done to show America. Kremlin dismissed the allegation of this conspiracy.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense (MND) said on Tuesday (August 19, 2025) that it had registered a military activity of China near its region. According to the Ministry of Defense, Taiwan has confirmed the activities of 10 military aircraft of China and six naval ships.

According to the Taiwanese Ministry of Defense (MND), two of the 10 aircraft crossed the middle line of Taiwan Strait and entered the AIR Defense Identification Zone/Adiz, the Northern Air Defense Identification Area of Taiwan. In response, Taiwan’s army kept a close watch on the situation and also deployed its aircraft, naval ships and coast-based missile systems towards the Chinese military aircraft.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense posted on X

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense wrote on the social media platform X, “Today on Tuesday (August 19, 2025), 10 aircraft of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and 6 ships of the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) were seen around Taiwan. 2 of these aircraft crossed the middle line and entered the North ADID.

Taiwan had recorded China’s activity many times before

This incident is the latest in the link of continuous Chinese military activities. On Monday (August 18, 2025), Taiwan also recorded activities of 6 Chinese military aircraft and 5 naval ships, out of which 3 aircraft crossed the middle line and entered North Adiz.

Similarly, on Sunday, Taiwan’s MND had told that 6 Chinese military aircraft and 5 naval ships were active around him. Of these, 2 aircraft crossed the middle line and entered the northern and south-west ADID of Taiwan.

China calls Taiwan its share

China constantly describes Taiwan as part of its area under its “One China” principle and emphasizes it on reconnaissance with Beijing. At the same time, Taiwan has been responding to the intruders of China while maintaining its sovereignty with the widespread support of the public.

Participated in a high level meeting between India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and China’s Polit Bureau member Wang Yi on 14 July 2025. During this time, he worked to redefine the direction and priorities of India-China relations. Jaishankar clearly stated Wang Yi that India-China bilateral relations will only be based on the mutual interests of both countries. Pakistan or any other third country will have no role in this. This statement is especially important because China is a supply of 81 percent of Pakistan’s military equipment.

In the meeting, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed satisfaction over the resumption of the Indian Army patrolling in the Depsang and Demchok region after the agreement in October 2024. Also said that five years have passed and now both armies should focus on reducing stress.

Why does the situation still persist on LAC?
The Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh is about 1,597 km. Even today, both the armies have about 50,000 soldiers, tanks and heavy weapons deployed here. The situation was created after encroachment of PLA in 2020. Although there were several rounds of military and diplomatic talks between India and China, there is no complete peace at the ground level. Jaishankar said in the meeting that a stable boundary is the cornerstone of stable relations between the two countries.

Export ban from China and India’s objection
In the meeting, S Jaishankar also raised the issue of recently imposed export sanctions by China. He questioned the ban on the minerals used in magnets used in the auto industry and the minerals used in potassium-nitrogen fertilizers. On this, Jaishankar urged Wang Yi not to impose such restrictions on India as it affects the supply chain and the economic relationship between the two countries is affected. These supply chains play an important role in India-China trade relations. Therefore, both leaders also discussed this issue.

India’s stand on terrorism: Message in SCO meeting
On July 13, 2025, at a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), S Jaishankar also reiterated India’s tough stand against terrorism. He said that India said that the action on terrorist camps in Pakistan is in line with the UNSC proposal 16050. The proposal was passed on 25 April 2025 and supported it by all countries including Pakistan, China and Russia. In the proposal, it has been said to bring criminals, organizers, financers and sponsors of terror into the dock of justice. Jaishankar clarified that India will not adopt any compromise policy on the issue of terrorism.

Pakistan’s role in India-China relations
The country is in tension about the role of Pakistan in India-China relations. Let us know that Pakistan supplies China missiles, aircraft and other military equipment to it. This is the reason that India bluntly said that India-China bilateral relations will not be allowed to be affected by third party, especially Pakistan. India’s attitude is clear that peace and mutual business relationships on the border will be fruitful only when such indirect effects will end.

Chinese military activities are increasing around Taiwan in recent times, due to which there is a possibility of increasing tension in the area. The National Ministry of Defense (MND) of Taiwan has recently reported. In which it is said that Chinese aircraft and warships are repeatedly infiltrating the air defense zone of Taiwan. These incidents have already increased stressful relations between Taiwan and China. & Nbsp;

In such a situation, the question is arising whether these activities are a sign of preparation for Chinese invasion of Taiwan, or it is just a strategy to create a military pressure?

 Chinese military activities around Taiwan

The National Defense Ministry of Taiwan said on Sunday that a Chinese aircraft was seen in the southwest air defense zone (ADIZ) of Taiwan and also found a presence of seven Chinese ships. These aircraft and ship were trying to enter the region of Taiwan, crossing the middle line of Taiwan. Apart from this, on Saturday, another Chinese aircraft and many Chinese warships were seen around Taiwan.

The Ministry said in its official statement that they are constantly monitoring these incidents and are responding under security measures. But, what are these growing military activities indicating?

Is this preparation for Chinese invasion?

In the last few weeks, China has further strengthened its military capacity against Taiwan. Recently, China has tested new devices such as a highly developed landing helicopter invasion (LHA) and Floating Bridge Dock. These devices are being seen as preparations for the attack on Taiwan, as their help increases the ability to unload a large number of soldiers on the shores.

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"Seeing these new devices of China in Taiwan, experts believe that China is serious about capturing Taiwan. However, China's official statement has always been that it will maintain diplomatic and military pressure to connect Taiwan with him once again.

 Taiwan’s response and safety measures

At the same time, Taiwan has responded to this military pressure of China with his own security measures. Taiwan is monitoring these intruders along with keeping his army and air force alert. The Ministry of Defense of this country said that they have responded immediately to these activities and under no circumstances will not let Taiwan’s safety end up.

Taiwan officials have also said that they are fully prepared to protect their limits against any type of Chinese military activities.

Increase of stress and future status

Stress growing between Taiwan and China can lead to a serious condition, which can cause danger not only for both countries, but for the whole of Asia and the world. China’s claim to consider Taiwan as part of its territory and Taiwan’s protecting its freedom makes this struggle more complicated. & Nbsp;

Experts believe that if these military activities increase further, there may be a major military conflict in the region. However, it is expected that this stress will be controlled by diplomatic efforts, but it will be clear over time to how far this situation will increase.

Increase in Chinese military activities near Taiwan may increase regional tension. There are indications from China that he is ready to take Taiwan under his control, while Taiwan is taking all possible steps for his safety. Now it has to be seen whether diplomacy can avoid this struggle or a new war crisis can arise in the region.

Chinese ple in balochistan: Violence has been continuing in Pakistan for some time. Armed rebel organizations are constantly carrying out major attacks against Pakistan’s army and other security forces. The latest and biggest developments in this are of Jafar Train Hijack in Balochistan, which was carried out by fighters of Balochistan’s separatist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). After this incident, the Balochistan Liberation Army has also threatened the Pakistani Army and China to leave Balochistan.

BLA has several times termed China’s China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project as illegal occupation of Balochistan. Apart from this, he has threatened to completely ruin this project of China. Meanwhile, there is a lot of discussion in Pakistan that China is now going to deploy its army to Balochistan to compete with separatist organizations in Balochistan and protect its interests.

India had already warned, Pakistan stupid

Meanwhile, Sana Amjad, a YouTuber of Pakistan, spoke to Pakistani citizens about China’s plan. During this time, Pakistani people were seen raging on the deployment of the China Army in Pakistani. A Pakistani named Ali Akbar said about the CPEC project of China, “India had already warned about it. It had opposed this project of Chinese from the first day and warned Pakistan about it. But Pakistan has fooled it and the result is suffering today.”

Pakistan tortures Balochistan- Ali Akbar

Ali Akbar further said, “Pakistan has tortured Balochistan a lot and a result of this is that today the citizens of Balochistan are bursting as anger as lava. However, if the government of Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan still pays attention to the matter, then there may be some improvement in the situation.”

India will help the people of Balochistan

He said, “If Pakistan starts a war in Balochistan, then India will definitely stand in support of him or Iran will come forward to help Baloch.” Akbar said that Pakistan had already told China that there is no problem in security in Balochistan. After which China invests heavily in Balochistan. ”

Pakistan’s honor will be lost due to the arrival of Chinese army

Akbar said that the Government of Pakistan is bent on auctioning the honor of the country. The remaining honor of the country will also be lost due to the Chinese Army being deployed in Pakistan because the Chinese Army comes to take action in our country that our Pakistani army does not have the ability to protect. ”

China News: China is accurately using its technology, as well as expanding Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, and the latest example of this is the use of “Deepcic AI” in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

PLA has deployed Deepcik AI in military hospitals, People’s Armed Police (PAP), and National Defense Units. AI helps doctors to make treatment plans and is also being used in other civilians. This reflects PLA’s technology development and AI-based military strategy, which will help in monitoring the battlefield in future and making decisions.

What is Deepcik AI and how PLA is using it?
Dipcic is a China-based AI tool, developed as an open-source large language model (LLM). PLA’s military hospitals in the medical sector suggests to create AI treatment plans to help doctors. Also, the information of patients is stored on the local server, due to which the data remains safe. It is also being used in PAP and other military institutions.

Deepcick AI vs other AI models:
Deepciak overtook AI models like Chatgpt due to computational efficiency. It has beaten Chatgpt as the top ranked free app on Apple’s app store.

1. AI used in battlefield strategy
PLA has already included AI in drone herd strategy, pilot training and war decision making.

2. To intensify the decision making process

The battlefield can process data in actual time. To increase command effectiveness, AI is allowed to work with decision makers.

3. AI’s contribution to monitoring and security
PLA AI can also be used in monitoring and intelligence campaigns. China’s government agencies are also adopting the deep model in anti -corruption efforts.

Can AI give a new dimension to China’s military strategy?
Let us know that PLA is constantly developing AI, cyber war and machine learning based strategy. China’s AI based military development can become a new challenge for the security strategies of the US and other countries. Including AI in military operations, China can give an increase in intelligence monitoring and aggressive defense. Unmanned arms systems can be developed for PLA. The use of AI to formulate the real -time strategy of the battlefield may increase.
