All these weapons are part of China’s Anti-access/Area Dinyl (A2/AD) strategy, which are capable of preventing the US Navy from coming to China.

Although the US still has more than 5,000 nuclear weapons, China’s rapid growing ability is a matter of concern for global security. The DF-41 missile can reach big cities in the US like New York and Los Angeles. The JL-3 is launched from the submarine and can stay secretly near the American coasts.

Along with this, Trump added his tariff policy and political context of the parade, saying that this effort to present China as a global leader highlights their foreign policy failure. Trump later said that the parade was beautiful, but it was done to show America. Kremlin dismissed the allegation of this conspiracy.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense (MND) said on Tuesday (August 19, 2025) that it had registered a military activity of China near its region. According to the Ministry of Defense, Taiwan has confirmed the activities of 10 military aircraft of China and six naval ships.

Taiwan had recorded China’s activity many times before
