In such a situation, this special scheme of the government has given great relief for millions of people. With this help, they are able to get a loan at a low interest rate without more hassle.

On 27 August 2025, the Union Cabinet reorganized the scheme and extended its duration till 31 March 2030. The government has decided to spend Rs 7332 on this. With this, the loan limit has also been increased in it. So that small sellers can take more capital and pursue their work and firmly.

Now the first installment of the loan has been increased from Rs 10000 to Rs 15000. The second installment has been increased from 20000 to 25000 rupees. The third installment will be the same at 50000 rupees. The special thing is that these loans are found without guarantee.

Due to which small vendors do not have to face any problem in raising money from the bank. Under the scheme, those who pay timely installments will get a Credit Card. So that he will be able to meet business or needs. So at the same time, those who adopt digital payments will also get cashback incentives up to Rs 1600.

Let us tell you that this scheme is being operated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Whereas the Department of Financial Services is providing the facility of loan and credit cards through banks. By 30 July 2025, more than 96 lakh people have been given loans to more than 68 lakh people.
