RBI’s message
Actually, a message is going to people’s phones from RBI. Through which it is being told that soon they are going to send cash directly to people’s phones. It is written in this message, ‘What if cash comes to your phone itself? This is possible with Digital Rupee (eRupee). According to this message, RBI is talking about putting digital money in your phone. Through which you will be able to easily make payment anywhere.

According to this message, RBI is now emphasizing on adopting digital currency and not UPI.

What is digital currency?
Digital currency is like cash but in digital form. This rupee is an electronic form of money, which cannot be touched but can be used. It can be used on mobile, computer or as a digital wallet. With this, online payment, sending money, shopping, all these things can be done.

RBI is now promoting this digital currency in place of cash. So that people minimize the use of cash and do all the work digitally.
