The producer’s roots are associated with the film background, because his father, O.P. Dutta was also a filmmaker and director. Seeing his father, JP Dutta made up his mind to appear in films and did the first film ‘Galami’.

The film came out in the year 1985. Multistarrer did this film by Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Smita Patil, and Mazhar Khan.

First break from ‘slavery’

JP Dutta has made ‘Border’, ‘LoC: Kargil’, ‘Refugee’ and ‘Paltan’. Preparation for ‘Border-2’ continues

Seeing the success of the film, the producer has also started preparing to make the film ‘Border-2’. The film will be released in the year 2026. Stars like Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan are going to be seen in the film.

Director JP Dutta’s personal life was also in controversy. The producer ran away from actress Bindiya Goswami and married. Bindiya Goswami’s family did not want them to be married to JP Dutta, but the love of both was so true that both of them got married secretly without caring for the world.

Today the couple have two daughters Nidhi Dutta and Siddhi Dutta. Nidhi Dutta is also on the path of becoming a director-producer like her father and is working as a director in the film Border-2.
