Belated ITR Last chance to fill up

If you are not able to submit ITR for the financial year 2024-25 on time, then you have a chance to file the belated return till 31st December. However, for this you will also have to pay late fees. For filing belated ITR, a late fee of Rs 1,000 will be charged for those with income less than Rs 5 lakh and Rs 5,000 for those with income above Rs 5 lakh. At the same time, if you do not file the belated ITR even by 31st December, then you will not get a chance to file the return.

Last date for PAN-Aadhaar linking is also 31st December

It is mandatory for those whose Aadhaar card is made on or before October 1, 2024, to link PAN with Aadhaar by December 31, 2025. If PAN is not linked to Aadhar card, PAN will become inactive. Bank services will also be affected, apart from this, work related to investment and demat will also stop and there will be problems in ITR file link. Ration card e-KYC also necessary till December

Last date of PM Awas Yojana

The application date for PM Awas Yojana, which provides assistance of up to Rs 2.5 lakh for building a house, has also been extended to December 31. In such a situation, interested candidates can apply online with Aadhaar, income certificate and residence certificate.

PM Awas Yojana: The Central Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country, has extended the last date to apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under this scheme, the government financially helps financially weaker people in urban and rural areas to build pucca houses at affordable rates.

This announcement of the government has given relief to millions of people coming in this category. In such a situation, if no one has applied for any reason yet, then they will be able to apply by December 2025. Explain that the government has extended the last date for application for both urban and rural schemes.

According to official data, more than 92.61 lakh houses have been prepared so far under this scheme. Now for the year 2025, the government has increased the deadline to apply to December 30, 2025. Under PMAY -U, financial assistance of up to Rs 2.5 lakh is given to people with low income to build a pucca house. However, there are some conditions for this too.

Eligibility for PM Housing Scheme

• The first applicant should be a citizen of India.
• The applicant should not have his own pucca house anywhere in the country.
• Family monthly income of rural area applicant should be less than Rs 10,000.
• Beneficiaries from rural areas will be selected on the basis of socio-economic caste census (SECC-2011).
• The annual income of the applicant of the urban area- Rs 3 lakh should be Rs 3 lakh for the economically weaker section, Rs 6 lakh for low income group and Rs 9 lakh for middle income group.
• Under the scheme, women of EWS and LIG groups, especially widows and women of SC, ST, OBC and minority communities can be included as beneficiaries.
• These can also include rickshaw drivers, street vendors, daily wage laborers, industrial laborers and migrant laborers.

How to apply

• First go to the official website of PMAY.
• Now click on the option of ‘Citizen Assessment’ on the homepage.
• After this, select the option from the dropdown menu according to your position (eg – slum dwellers, Benefit under 3 components etc.).
• Now a new page will be revealed openly, in which you have to fill your name and Aadhaar card number.
• Then click on the ‘Check’ button and verify your base.
• Now fill all the necessary information carefully in the registration form.
• After this, upload all the necessary documents and fill it with the captcha code and submit it.
• Finally click on the ‘Submit’ button.
