Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), crores of farmers are given assistance of Rs 6,000 every year. This amount is sent directly to the bank account of farmers in three equal installments. So far, the government has released 19 installments and farmers across the country are now eagerly waiting for the 20th installment. However, this time no new information related to the 20th installment has been shared on the PM Kisan Portal or Mobile App. Due to this, there is confusion among the farmers about how long the next installment will come.

When did the previous installment come?

The government had transferred the previous i.e. 19th installment to farmers’ accounts on 24 February 2025. Before that, the 17th installment came on 18 June 2024. It was now expected that the 20th installment would come in June 2025, but there is no update about the installment even after half the month of July.

What is the benefit of the scheme?

Under the PM-Kisan scheme, eligible farmers get Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is given three times a year as a installment of two thousand rupees every four months. This money goes directly to farmers’ accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

What should farmers do?

If the amount of 20th installment has not come in your account till now, then there is no need to panic. The government may soon release new information about this. In such a situation, the farmer brothers are advised to keep checking the portal from time to time and check the status of their account.

In this way, check your name in the list

1. First of all, visit the official website of PM farmer PMKISAN.Gov.in.
2. Click on the yellow ‘Dashboard’ button under the ‘Payment Success’ section shown on the homepage.
3. Now Village Dashboard will open in front of you. Fill the information of state, district, sub-district and panchayat in it.
4. After this, click on ‘Get Report’ and see whether your name is in the beneficiary list.

Farmers are being advised to check their name in the beneficiary list. If your name is not in the list, then money will not come to your account. Many times the installment gets stuck due to a small mistake in Aadhaar or bank details.

• Now click on submit and see your name in the list.
