The eyes of crores of farmers across the country are now on July 18. The reason is clear that the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has not been released yet. Half a month of July has passed, but no official date has been revealed by the government so far. In such a situation, farmers are hoping that this much awaited installment can be released during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program in Motihari, Bihar on 18 July.

In fact, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth about Rs 7100 crore in Bihar on 18 July. On the same day, he will also transfer the amount to the accounts of 40 thousand beneficiaries under the PM Awas Yojana. Along with this, about 12 thousand people will also be given the key of pucca houses. In such a situation, farmers are also expecting that on this occasion the next installment of 2000 rupees will be transferred to their accounts.

Why did not the installment not come yet?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, every year farmers get 6000 rupees in three installments. A installment comes every four months. This time the installment of April to July has not come yet, while the 17th installment was received in June last year. The 19th installment also came on 24 February this year, but there is still no government announcement regarding the 20th installment.

Farmer ID and E-KYC is important

Must make a farmer ID, otherwise the money may get stuck.
Those whose e-KYC is not complete, complete this process immediately.
Aadhaar card and bank account information should be linked correctly with the scheme.

Which farmers may get stuck money?

Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the bank account to be linked to Aadhaar. If this is not a link, then the installment can be stopped. Go to the bank and complete this process as soon as possible by taking Aadhaar card, address proof (eg electricity or water bill) and bank passbook.

Wrong documents can also become bottlenecks
