Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is proving to be a great help for crores of farmers of the country. Under this scheme, every year farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 in three installments, so that they can easily meet the needs related to farming like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and other expenses. Every time the time comes for the release of installment, farmers wait eagerly for it.

Now once again the discussion regarding the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has intensified. Farmers are expected to get good news at the beginning of the new year 2026. The previous i.e. 21st installment was released on 19 November 2025, in which Rs 2000 was transferred directly to the bank accounts of more than 9 crore farmers across the country. Since then, farmers are eager to know the date of the next installment. Although no official date has been announced by the government yet regarding the 22nd installment, but according to media reports, it is believed that the government can release the next installment by the end of February 2026. If this happens, it will be a big relief for the farmers. But at the same time, it is also very important to know which farmers will not get the 22nd installment money, so that they can make necessary improvements in time.

22nd installment will not come to the account of these farmers

The government has already made it clear that if the farmer has not fulfilled the necessary conditions related to the scheme, then his installment can be stopped. In such a situation, money can get stuck due to many reasons. As

1. If e-KYC is not completed – Farmers who have not yet done e-KYC will not get the benefit of the 22nd installment. The government has made e-KYC mandatory. If your e-KYC is incomplete, the next installment will not be credited to your account.

2. Not linking Aadhaar with bank account – The money of PM Kisan Yojana is sent directly to the bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). If your bank account is not linked to Aadhaar, or DBT service is not active, the money will not be transferred.

3. Error in bank details – Many times farmers enter the account number, IFSC code or bank name wrongly. Even in such a situation the installment gets stuck. Therefore, definitely check your bank details in time.

4. Name not being in the beneficiary list – If for some reason your name has been removed from the beneficiary list, you will not get the installment. A small mistake, document not being updated or discrepancy in the information could be the reason for this.

5. No farmer registry – The government has now made farmer registry also mandatory. Going forward, only those farmers will get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana, whose name will be registered in the Farmer Registry.

How to check your name and status

Farmer brothers can check their name and status by visiting pmkisan.gov.in website sitting at home. Apart from this, you can check your status in Beneficiary Status. You can also see your name in the beneficiary list. You can check information related to bank and Aadhaar. Till the official date of 22nd installment is not announced, all the farmer brothers should complete e-KYC, check bank account and Aadhaar linking, confirm the name in the beneficiary list, get the farmer registry done. This will make it clear that as soon as the government releases the 22nd installment, Rs 2000 should reach your account directly without any interruption.

The eyes of crores of farmers of the country are currently on the 20th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi. Earlier, 19th installment Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred to farmers’ accounts on 24 February 2025. Under this scheme, farmers are given assistance of ₹ 2000 every 4 months, that is, financial assistance of ₹ 6000 in the whole year, this money is sent directly to their bank accounts. E-KYC (Electronic KYC) is necessary to take advantage of this scheme.

1. Prime Minister Dhan-Dhanya Agricultural Scheme

This new scheme started in July 2025. Its purpose is to help farmers in storage of grain and crop production, post harvest management. In this, farmers get financial assistance to make warehouses, cold storage and other facilities, you can contact the website of the Agriculture Department or the District Agricultural Office to apply in this scheme.

2. Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme

If the crop gets spoiled by rain, drought, insect or disease, then this insurance scheme gives compensation. In this scheme, the farmer has to pay very little premium, the rest of the government gives. Registration in this can be done through CSC, bank or website.

3. State Crop Insurance Schemes of State

Apart from PMFBY, many states run their insurance plans. These help farmers in disasters like drought, flood or hailstorm. You can contact the bank, insurance agent or Agriculture Department to take advantage of this scheme.

4. Agricultural Flight Scheme

This scheme helps the farmers to reach out to big markets by air and fruits. This sells yield at the right time and gets good prices. For this, contact the local market or FPO.

5. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Manadhan Yojana

If you are a small or marginal farmer and want some firm income after the age of 60, then this scheme is for you. In this, you are given a pension of 3000 rupees every month. For this, one has to deposit a little money every month and the government also gives the same. You can register in it by visiting LIC Office, CSC Center or Maandhan portal.
