Yogi government has given a big good news for the farmers in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi government has taken an important decision regarding Khatauni reform in land records, due to which lakhs of farmers will now get relief from the money of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. With this decision of Yogi government, now farmers will not have to go to court or court and they will easily be able to get the money from Kisan Samman Nidhi.

With this decision of the Yogi government, farmers will be greatly benefited not only in Kisan Samman Nidhi but also in other schemes like crop insurance, loan waiver and land acquisition compensation. Under this decision of the Revenue Council, there is no longer any need for a long legal process or court to match the name recorded in Khatauni with the Aadhaar card.

Now corrections will be made only after verification by the accountant or revenue inspector. In this, birth certificate, ration card or other authentic documents will be matched, so that there is no scope for fraud. Because in Khatauni, due to slight differences in father’s name, spelling or surname, lakhs of farmers were deprived of schemes. Now about 30 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh will be able to avail the benefit of this facility.

Let us tell you that there are more than 2.65 crore registered farmers in UP, out of which lakhs of farmers used to get one or two installments of Samman Nidhi stopped every year due to the difference in their names in Aadhar card and Khatauni. In many of these cases, farmers were left out of the entire scheme. Now within two months, camps will be organized at the district level with online-offline software updates, where applications will be accepted in the tehsil offices. A senior official of the Revenue Department said that this decision will benefit at least 25-30 lakh farmers who till now were deprived of government schemes only because of the mistake in the name.

There is relief news for crores of farmers of the country. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana), farmers are given financial assistance of 6,000 every year, which is sent directly to their bank accounts in three 2,000- 2,000 installments. This scheme is being run with the aim of compensating crop loss to farmers and giving economic strength.

Now all farmers are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment, and if media reports are to be sent, this installment can be sent to the accounts of farmers by 20 June 2025. Although its date has not been confirmed officially yet, it is being speculated that this installment may come within the next week.

If you have given wrong information or documents while applying or KYC, then your installment can be stopped. Go to your nearest bank branch or CSC center and complete the process by taking Aadhaar card, electricity bill (or other address proof), and photocopy of bank passbook.

When did the first installment come?

The first installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released in the year 2019. The benefit of this scheme was first given to the farmers of Bhagalpur district of Bihar. At that time Prime Minister Narendra Modi had transferred an amount of more than Rs 22,000 crore to the account of 9.08 crore farmers.
