The government has given a special opportunity till April 30 to update the data and correct the mistakes.

E-KYC and Land Verification

The first and biggest reason for stuck installment is incompleteness of e-KYC. The government has now made it completely mandatory so that the money reaches the right beneficiary directly. If you have not yet completed your biometric or OTP based KYC by visiting PM Kisan Portal. So your installment will never come.

Along with this, land seeding i.e. land verification is also equally important. If there is no record map of your farming land in your database. So the system stops the payment considering you ineligible. Therefore, go to the portal and check the status whether your land seeding and e-KYC is showing YES or not.

Aadhaar and bank account details mismatch

The second most common mistake is the spelling of the name being different in your Aadhar card and PM Kisan application. This may sound like a small thing, but if the name in Aadhaar is Rahul Kumar and in the application, it is Rahul Kumar, then the system rejects it.

Apart from this, it is also necessary for your bank account to be linked to Aadhaar and enabled for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Many times IFSC codes change due to bank merger. If it is not updated, the money is returned. Visit your bank branch and check that your account is active and completely linked to Aadhaar.

Incorrect data on portal

The third mistake may be related to your gender, category or address. If you have accidentally selected the wrong category while applying. So your file may get stopped in the verification process. The good thing is that you can edit this information yourself by going to the Farmer Corner on the official website of PM Kisan.

The last deadline for this has been fixed by the government as 30th April. Which is very close, so do not make the mistake of postponing pending work. If the portal does not work, you can get your data corrected by meeting your nearest Public Service Center (CSC) or block agriculture officer. Once the data is cleaned, your stuck installments will be released.
