On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday (17 September), the BJP has once again announced to make a service fortnight like the last several years. Under the Seva Pakhwara starting from 17 September, a large -scale drug -free India campaign and fitness related programs will be organized across the country. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavia and MP Tejashwi Surya gave this information.

Fitness icon and actor Milind Soman were also present during this period, who has been declared the ‘run ambassador’ of this campaign. Under this de -addiction campaign, 10 lakh people will run in the marathon. On September 21, ‘Namo Yuva Run’ will be held in 75 cities of the country, in which about 10,000 youth from every city will participate.

Awareness will increase in youth

Also, youth runs will be organized in 75 cities of the world, so that this campaign can be given a global form. During the service fortnight, many social programs like health check -up camp, blood donation camp, sanitation campaign and environmental protection will also be organized.

The government believes that these activities will not only increase awareness among the youth, but a big step will be taken towards preparing healthy and responsible citizens in the society. Apart from this, special attention will also be given to ‘every house indigenous-house indigenous’ campaign.

Inspired to adopt local products

Under this, people will be motivated to adopt local products and use indigenous goods. The organizers say that this will send a strong message in the direction of self -reliant India and will also strengthen the rural economy.
