NDA is moving towards a strong majority in Bihar. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the largest party in this election. While addressing the workers from BJP headquarters in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his address with Jai Chhathi Maiya. PM Modi said that the people of Bihar have wasted their time.

People of Bihar have blown away: PM Modi

On the results of Bihar, PM Modi said, “This massive victory, this unwavering faith… the people of Bihar have blown away our hearts. We the people of NDA, we are the servants of the people. We keep making the hearts of the people happy with our hard work and we are sitting here stealing the hearts of the people, so today Bihar has shown that once again there will be an NDA government.”

‘People of Bihar broke all records’

PM Modi said, “The people of Bihar have voted for a developed Bihar. The people of Bihar have voted for a prosperous Bihar. During the election campaign, I had requested the people of Bihar for record voting and the people of Bihar broke all the records. I had requested the people of Bihar to give a massive victory to the NDA, the people of Bihar also accepted my request.”

Katta government will never return to Bihar: PM Modi

He said, “When I used to talk about Jungle Raj and Katta government, RJD did not raise any objection. However, this made Congress uneasy. Today I want to reiterate again that Katta government will never return to Bihar.”

‘End of communal MY formula’

PM Modi said, “This time people voted without fear. Bihar gave the biggest mandate to NDA after 2010. The Grand Alliance had created an appeasement MY formula. Today’s victory has created a positive MY formula for women and youth. The public has put an end to the communal MY formula of the Jungle Raj people. Today, Bihar is among the states in the country which have the highest number of youth and it includes youth of every religion and every caste. Today I am from Bihar. I especially congratulate the youth.”

‘Jungleraj will never return’

PM Modi said, “This victory of Bihar is the victory of daughters and mothers. Bihar will never see the return of Jungle Raj. There is satisfaction instead of appeasement in Bihar. People of Bihar have a big role in the development of India. The development of Bihar is not going to stop now.”

He said, “Gangaji reaches Bengal only through Bihar. Bihar has also paved the way for victory in Bengal. I assure the people of Bengal that now BJP will join hands with you to uproot Jungle Raj.”

As soon as he reached BJP headquarters, PM Modi greeted the people by swinging his towel in Bihari style. Earlier when he had swung the pot like this from Simaria Pool in Begusarai, Bihar. After this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda welcomed him by garlanding him with Makhana.

NDA is once again moving towards a historic victory in Bihar Assembly elections 2025. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address party workers at BJP headquarters in Delhi today at 6 pm. Pairing of Nitish Kumar and PM Modi
Nitish Kumar has led Bihar in the last two decades. He is also known as ‘Sushasan Babu’. This election was being considered as a test of public trust and political stability for him. This time the pair of PM Modi and Nitish Kumar showed a strong and coordinated alliance in the elections. Their joint campaign emphasized development, infrastructure, social schemes and administrative stability.

NDA’s performance
As per the current trends, Nitish Kumar led NDA has taken lead on a total of 197 seats. In this, BJP is leading on 90 seats, JDU on 80, LJP on 20, HAM on 3 and RLM on 4 seats. In the opposition alliance, RJD is leading on 28 seats, Congress on 4, CPI(ML) on 4 and CPI-M on 1 seat. Apart from this, BSP is leading on 1 and AIMIM 5 seats.

Peace in elections and improvement of law and order
There was peace in Bihar in the 2025 elections and there was no need for repolling anywhere. This is a big change from the previous elections, when the elections of 1985, 1990 and 1995 were marred by incidents of violence and repolling. NDA has called this a proof of better law and order.

Rural support and development impact
Bihar being a state with about 89% rural population, NDA enjoyed strong support in rural areas. Nitish Kumar’s schemes and Prime Minister Modi’s popularity won the trust of voters in both rural and urban areas.

Nitish Kumar has focused on political stability and development for more than four decades. He improved rural infrastructure and built public confidence through direct economic assistance schemes. His political career began with the JP movement of the 1970s and he made a strong mark in backward classes and secular politics.
