Monday (December 8) is the sixth day of the winter session of Parliament. There is to be a long discussion on Vande Mataram in the Lok Sabha. It was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said in the Lok Sabha, it is our good fortune to remember the virtue of Vande Mataram, the mantra, the slogan which had energized the country’s freedom movement, inspired it, shown the path of sacrifice and penance.

A special discussion is being held in the Lok Sabha on the completion of 150 years of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’. Before the Lok Sabha proceedings, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that there will be a detailed discussion on the topic of 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram song.

Speaking to IANS, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said, “As per the decision of the Business Advisory Committee, the country is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the song ‘Vande Mataram’ on December 8. In this regard, there will be a discussion on this occasion in the Lok Sabha on Monday and it will continue in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal praised Prime Minister Modi and his policies. He said, “For 11 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been leading the country and making policies. Through his policies, the policy of social justice seems to be coming on the ground.”

Arjun Ram Meghwal said that social justice has clearly arrived in rural areas. Houses are being upgraded, electricity and toilets are being provided and loans are being given under the Mudra scheme. I was able to see these changes during my frequent visits to the villages. So far 25 crore people have come out of poverty, which is a major achievement in implementing social justice.

According to the program related to ‘Vande Mataram’ debate, ruling NDA members have been allotted three hours out of the total 10 hours allotted for it in the Lok Sabha. The discussion on ‘Vande Mataram’ is likely to be stormy due to differences of opinion about the song between the ruling party and the opposition. The Rajya Sabha session will be held on Tuesday. In the Rajya Sabha, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will initiate the discussion on Tuesday, after which Health Minister and House leader JP Nadda will speak.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said a big attack on the Congress party and said that those who dancing to the constitution on the head had crushed the constitution. He revealed that earlier a law was applicable in Delhi, which allowed the scavengers who did not come to work without notice to be sent to jail.

Addressing a program organized in Rohini, Delhi, Prime Minister Modi said, “Those who dance with the constitution on their heads, how did they crush the Constitution, how he used to beat Babasaheb’s feelings, I am going to tell the truth.”

Dangerous law in Delhi for scavengers

The PM further said, ‘The first dangerous law was in Delhi for the sweepers. One thing was written in the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, if a clean friend did not come to work without telling him, he could be put in jail for a month. Think yourself, what did these people think of cleaning workers. Will you put them in jail due to a small mistake? ‘

PM Modi said, ‘Those who talk big about social justice today, they kept many such laws in the country. This is Modi, which is ending such wrong laws. Our government has abolished hundreds of such laws and this campaign continues continuously.

Special gift to countrymen on Diwali

In his address, the Prime Minister stressed the governance reforms and said that reforms for us mean expansion of good governance. So we are emphasizing the reform. In the coming time, we are going to do big reforms, so that life and business are everything easy.

He told that the next big step in this direction is to improve GST. The Prime Minister said, ‘GST is going to be reform. This Diwali double bonus is going to be available to the countrymen. We have sent its format to the states. I hope that all the states will cooperate in this and complete this process as soon as possible, so that Diwali can become more luxurious.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about Operation Sindoor that Pakistan has also got a big punishment from imagination. The PM said, ‘India directly attacked Pakistan’s chest. Pakistan’s airbase and assets suffered heavy losses and till date many airbase have been lying in ICU. Operation vermilion has proved to be successful in the technical field. If the preparations that we have made in the last 10 years were not there, then we can guess how much damage could we could in this technological era.
