Yunus said that his government is keeping a strong monitoring on such incidents and is taking serious steps to stop them. He told PM Modi that he can send a journalist to Bangladesh to investigate these incidents himself.

Prime Minister Modi hoped from the Bangladesh government to take the safety of minorities seriously and investigate these incidents properly. PM Modi said that democratic and inclusive elections are necessary in Bangladesh, so that the country becomes stable and progressive. Apart from this, the extradition of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was also discussed, but the Indian Foreign Secretary did not say much on it. The two leaders described their meeting as positive and wished each other good health and wished the people of both countries for peace and progress.

“Prevention on crossing illegal border is necessary”

Prime Minister Modi told Mohammad Yunus that it is necessary to strictly follow the law and to prevent illegal border, especially at night, border security and stability. Speaking to the media here, Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt said, “Bangladesh has made a formal request regarding Sheikh Hasina. It would not be appropriate for me to say anything more on this matter. ”
