Narendra Modi completed 12 years of his tenure as Prime Minister on May 26 and on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) he overtook the record of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for the longest continuous tenure as an elected Prime Minister. Bharatiya Janata Party has released a special song. BJP MP Anil Baluni shared this song on his social media platform X. In the song, the development works done during the last 12 years, public welfare schemes and the resolution of ‘Developed India’ have been prominently presented.

The song begins with an emotional appeal to the Prime Minister in children’s voices – “Modi ji, Modi ji listen, give us a developed India.” Through this, an attempt has been made to bring forward the future of the country and the aspirations of the new generation. The song says that the government has done many important things in the past years and now is the time to take the country to new heights.

The central message of the song is ’12 years of faith, 12 years of development, 12 years of happiness for all, respect for India’. Through this, the tenure of the BJP government has been presented as a journey of public trust and development.

PM Modi’s tenure mentioned in song

The lyrics of the song also mention the changes taking place in rural India. In this, pucca houses, tap water in every house, roads reaching villages and expansion of basic facilities have been shown as achievements of development. The impact of government schemes has been underlined through lines like “There is a permanent house, there is tap water, every door is illuminated, the new road is a new story”.

The song also mentions the changes in the lives of farmers, women and children. Words like “Greenery again in the fields”, “Hope in mother’s eyes”, and “Daughter has got happiness” put forward the message of social and economic empowerment. At the same time, the expansion of rail and mobile connectivity has been presented as the identity of modern India. The song says that the rail network and the digital revolution have reduced distances and made people’s lives more convenient.
