Congress MP Imran Masood had demanded to make Priyanka Gandhi the face of the post of Prime Minister. Robert Vadra has also supported his statement. Praising his wife Priyanka Gandhi, he said that Priyanka’s political future is very bright and in the coming times many people would like to see her as the Prime Minister of the country. He expressed confidence that it is only a matter of time and it will happen.

He said, ‘Priyanka understands the kind of change that is needed in the country. She not only expresses her views, but also listens to people. This will definitely happen when the time comes.

Vadra said that Priyanka Gandhi has got a deep understanding of politics from her family. He told, ‘Priyanka has learned a lot from her grandmother Indira Gandhi, father Rajiv Gandhi, mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi. People like her because she speaks from the heart and talks openly on important issues.

Support came after Imran Masood’s statement
This statement of Robert Vadra has come after the comments of Congress MP Imran Masood. Masood had said that Priyanka Gandhi can become a strong Prime Minister like her grandmother Indira Gandhi. Referring to the incidents happening with Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, he had said that Priyanka Gandhi would have taken strict decisions in such matters.

BJP’s attack on Rahul Gandhi’s statement
On the other hand, BJP has attacked Congress over the statements given by Rahul Gandhi in Berlin. BJP says that Rahul Gandhi tarnishes the image of India by going abroad. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said, ‘The public no longer has confidence in Rahul Gandhi. INDIA alliance partners, Congress leaders and even family members are raising questions on him. According to BJP, this is why Rahul Gandhi is upset and is giving such statements abroad.
