PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana: The Central Government has taken an important step to promote new employment opportunities in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday transferred incentive amount to the beneficiaries under ‘Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rojgar Yojana’ (PM VBRY). The main objective of this scheme is to connect the youth with employment and to provide financial assistance to new employees starting jobs.

While giving information on social media platform He said that through this scheme, it will play an important role in strengthening the youth power of the country and increasing employment opportunities.

How much benefit will those who get the first job get?

The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM VBRY) is to create new jobs in the country and connect more and more people with formal employment. Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to Rs 15,000 has been given to the youth starting a job for the first time.

According to the government, this amount is given to new employees to provide financial assistance at the beginning of their job. It is being claimed that about 15 lakh employment opportunities have been created so far through this scheme.

Will companies get incentives?

Not only the new employees, but also the companies making more recruitments will get the benefit of this scheme. Companies that hire new employees will be given a benefit of up to Rs 3,000 per month on each new employee. The government believes that this will increase the number of companies coming to provide jobs to more people and new employment opportunities will increase.

Target of 3.5 crore employment in two years

PM VBRY scheme was implemented from 1 August 2025. The government has set a budget of Rs 99,446 crore for ‘Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rojgar Yojana’. The government aims to provide more than 3.5 crore jobs within the country in the next two years.
